  1. still unsure of how to make the sample sustain its sound. using the bottom right hand corner... theres 4 envelopes. what are the capabilities. i really don't know, they don't teach logic here in Australia, only pro tools and cubase. ive wanted to be taught how to use logic for a long time. I've been left to learn it all by my self. . .
  2. how do we make the samples longer, or at least play there length. they seem to be cut short by the size of the sample window down on the bottom left. would that have anything to do with it ? i just want to be able to have samples like cymbals which can be quite long to play out.
  3. man this is fantastic, wow, sorry im just really happy right now. thanks heaps mate!
  4. exactly what i was thinking. Also, what the other dude mentioned, is this going to work... i cant see why theres so much involved to just have my own samples in ultrabeat. the factory kits are poo... i have nice clean drum samples i wanna use. once i get this little problem of mine out of the way i can start making tracks. Also while im here writing this, maybe some one can tell me about the cycle in the arrangement page, can u have a cycle, or loop going, say 4 bars, and record past that... ? while the loops still going, so like an independent loop while other stuffs going on around it. because i can write my drum loops so much easier in the arrangment than in ultrabeat. or maybe i could save the drum loop as an audio file. and then re-import it, so look that. if i make sense.
  5. Im having trouble loading samples in logic 7's ultrabeat. Its probably a really little problem. i just dont know how its done. ive tried dragging them across, from say, my desktop. that works, but the drum samples just layer, and become distorted and no longer sound like drums. um.... can any one help with my problems.
  6. Im newish to logic, all i want to know is, how to make good drum loops, and add s#!+ over the top. samples from other forms of music etc. Hip Hop is basicly where im trying to go. Now, i have thousands of drum samples, and ive been using them in the arrangement window, creating loops that sound great. but looping them restricts me from recording vocals, because its only going to record the length of the loop. correct? i want to loops the drums, but record and layer lots of over s#!+, whilts the drums are looping. if possible. if not, im willing to use ultrabeat, however, i dont know how to load my samples in ultrabeat. ... . . . . . .. . can some one help me. .....
