  1. I may be wrong but can't you just automate the tempo with a diagonal line from 125 to 95? that seems like a huge (and very noticeable) jump anyway...
  2. not sure if it's been posted but this could theoretically let you run 32 bit AUs in the now 64 bit Logic X (Sylenth1 for example): http://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridgem/
  3. ^ exactly what i do, i've really never messed with Ultrabeat much as all of my drum hits are separated by kick, snare, hats, etc in EXS24 sampler instruments, very handy for keeping them organized to recall on later, especially when you have around 35,000+ samples.
  4. i'm 90% sure these guys released the stems for this song as part of a remix contest, search harder the acapella is out there.
  5. Any setting to change pitch in the EXS24 without the length of the sample being affected?
  6. yeah pretty much, it's a really aggressive and fast decrease in volume that triggers on the kick, with the volume rising again almost instantly, acting like an inverse or silent reverb on the kick, has an interesting aural effect.
  7. Skip to 9:34 on this video, just wondering how that sort of ducking sound is achieved on every kick? is it basically the opposite of house/dance kick sidechaining except putting the compressor on the kick and sending everything else (synths/bass) to the bus to make the rest of the track "duck" when the kick hits?
  8. press A, then in the box (on your instrument track) that says Volume click and hold and find the Pitch Shifter plugin and the Pitch parameter, then just set your automation points so it ramps up over time.
  9. I'm looking to change the BPM of a project i already started, it has samples of audio all over the place and was wondering if i can select all of them to time stretch at once rather than doing them one by one with the Time & Pitch Machine...
  10. what i do is open any instrument, usually piano or simple saw-wave synth, loop the chord progression and play along until i find the root key, should only take you a minute or so.
  11. [soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/sagas/work-in-progress-ii[/soundcloud] anything to work on as far as the mix goes?
  12. just wonder if it's normal for the visual wavelength on an AIFF to partially disappear when time stretching a track? whenever i slow something down by a decent bit, say 33% or more it will only show so much of the resulting wavelength, i'm assuming the length of the original track, any fixes for this?
  13. wow that was a dumb question afterall haha i overlooked the tempo drop-down on the left, an automation curve like that is exactly what i'm looking for, thanks!!
  14. yes you can have multiples, you can sidechain a 4/4 kick to a compressor for that signature "pumping" effect, while also using the same bus as an input or sidechain in any number of tracks on top of that. if by multiples you mean multiple instruments to the same bus/sidechain then yes, you would for instance send instrument 1 and instrument 2 to a certain bus, then use that bus as your sidechain.
