  1. Hi there. Is there a way to quickly cycle and browse through samples in the same folder as the loaded sampler....in sampler? Without having to load new samples... thank you.
  2. Same here.....they seem to still work though, or maybe I'm wrong. They work fine in Ableton too....so it must be a Logic thing....I don't know of any fix yet though,.
  3. Still wishing that this was a thing.....no 'daws' (to my knowledge) sync grid to highest transient point still..... =/
  4. I am so surprised that no one uses anything that works for this hehe...
  5. I've looked everywhere but there is no dedicated jog wheel for logic? I was able to set up my Maschine to do it once but it wasn't good because it had notches and skipped.....it would be very useful to be as I do mastering and when plugins are open it would be nice to move around the timeline without closing windows.....i'd use it nonstop. I cant belive no one else would find this useful. Any ideas? thank you.
  6. I take that back....it looked the same ( and simple) so I thought that it would work. On my second track I've selected Battery as my output......but now on track 2 even without any midi notes it plays the same pattern as on track 1......when I draw some new midi notes it does not play those.....Then I tried making a summing folder...I thought I could do what I wanted with one of those but the summing folder is just a bus? I want to just use Battery for about 4 or 5 different tracks output. So that I can just draw the midi notes that I want played one each track and have them all play from the same Battery. Should be simple.....I must be missing something here...
  7. There we go! ....and it looks somewhat like the old one. I cant believe that I haven't used this feature for so long....weird. Thanks for your help Atlas!
  8. Like the title says....I used to know how to do this in the older Logic but I guess that I haven't done this in some time....with Logic Pro X I can not seem to see how to do it the same way...unless I am just not seeing it. I have NI Battery loaded on 1 track.....and I just want to use the one instance of it....then on my other track 2 and 3 I have midi info.....but want to send the output to the same original Battery. Thanks in advance. =)
  9. This is a totally out-dated thread I see but.....I am looking for a way to do this in the latest Logic Pro. =) If I make a selection, then hit "M" it just mutes the entire region, not the selection. Anyone know how? thanks.
  10. Wow there is always more to learn in Logic (for me) hehe....Much thanks for the tips David.
  11. I've always been a bit lost with flexing loops. I understand how to do it and all but then when I get to later stages of using the audio I get confused. I try and use flex mainly to just quantize audio parts...but I also like to loop audio parts. After I flex them and try and pull the loop across the arrange page it wont let me....it stays in this "timestretch mode". It seems like flex is only useful if you bounce to audio after flexing and then do other stuff...How do you guys use it? It looks to me like for it to stay 'flexed' you must leave the flex mode ON. Which then makes everything else more difficult... Just wondering how to guys go about using it most efficiency ..that is all.... =)
  12. Ya, that was the order that I did....but didn't work unfortunately...I just got around it by bouncing to audio then bouncing again after flexing...but thanks for the tip. I'll try your route again if it happens again. =) I did it from the the upper left menu of the arrange window....maybe that is the wrong spot because it seems that it wasn't removing the tempo info from the apple loop. I thought maybe it was because it was stamped permanently into the apple loop itself...
  13. hmm when I export my tempo to audio file nothing happens....I hit "detect tempo of region" after and it still shows 100 bpm...but my project is 70 bpm. ...maybe because it is a apple loop. I guess if I make a new bounce to audio from it...that should work. =)
