  1. very well done, sir!! but are the floating regions sample accurate?
  2. ah ha! they show up now. thanks a bunch. i rarely use the CSR reverbs since i bought them with a bundle. i am going to give them much more love from now on i promise.
  3. i'm having a similar issue. i can call up the CSR plugins from software instrument tracks and the Output 1-2 channel but i they dont show up in my Audio track inserts list.
  4. there is finally an iPod that i can put my entire music collection on ...too bad it isnt the ipod touch. lots of really cool features on the touch but i wouldnt buy one merely because of the hard drive size. shouldnt be too long before they start putting larger drives in them.
  5. The Arcade Fire album is definitely up there on my list. very very well done album. Mythmaker is also very good. i feel that Year:Zero is far better than With Teeth. With Teeth sounded like Trent Reznor singing songs written by a pop band. it was way too simple and didnt display Trents gifts and talents very well. the last half of the "Great Destroyer" is awesome though. TDS and Further Down TDS are my two favs by Trent. my number one album this year though is Super Taranta by Gogol Bordello. This album is more complex and less catchy than previous albums but it does retain much of their sardonic humor though. it's less gypsy for the GB troupe this time around and more Italian influenced.
  6. Absynth 3 with DVD tutorial $150 iZotope Trash $80 Native Instruments Guitar Combos $40 these are the original CDs with license keys. i'll work with you to get the licenses transferred to your name. i also have a two channel optical compressor from Carvin and a Presonus TubePre to sell. How does $125 for the Carvin and $60 for the TubePre sound. These are in like new condition with no problems whatsoever. oh and i have a Roland XV-5050 rack synth that i picked up used about 6 months ago but i have no real need for it. $325 i can take money orders and checks but i no longer do paypal though. i'll entertain offers as well. thanks, Doug
  7. i like the mushroom cloud. it accurately depicts what i want to do to half of my tracks. hahaha
  8. i find it to be pretty unstable as well. i usually open amplitbe or ampeg svx and use the tuners in those.
  9. I guess you're talking about the picture where I'm making pancakes? not at all...i asked for eggs and bacon. Some of the darker grey fonts do seem to disappear a bit in the black background but i do like the black theme.
  10. Happy (Belated) Birthday David!!
  11. off-topic: that is one of the creepiest avatars i have ever seen.
  12. i have Next/Previous assigned to the two lowest notes on my 76 key roland synth so i can try out sounds with out leaving the synth.
  13. amen brother! DVDs dont bother me too much as i can get through the junk pretty quickly by hitting the next Chapter button. i go to the movie theater though and by the time the previews and commercials are done i cant remember what i went to see.
  14. i guess i represent the Haphazard Coffee Makers Guild here. i typically wake up bleary eyed, disoriented, and stumbling into the kitchen so this is how i make coffee: 1. tap water into the coffee pot 2. throw a handful of coffee grounds at the coffee machine 3. turn on the coffee pot 4. turn on the kitchen light sometimes, i actually get coffee out of this process. seriously, i do need try the french press method one day. it looks fancy.
