  1. I guess the release of 10.5 and the new features offer a lot of sampling possibilities among many other features. Many will enjoy. Personally I would rather create then spend endless hours sampling, but then I am old school. Apple could have offered a few more areas for the more traditional guys. The Midi capture is cool, if only that could be audio recording? I was hoping Jazz kits grooves may hit Drum Designer. But then we did get the Techo Drum designer stuff. Theres a lot stuff in this new release and more learning curves for sure. Just not sure about sampling loops and grooves. What do you think?
  2. “Thank You” all your explorers out there reporting it’s new software. It will take time to get all the bugs out. I would install it on another drive not on ones main computer. Keep creating not scratching ones head reading posts on sites like this.
  3. Update a new Apple Magic Keyboard fixed the command z. After so much searching and reinstalling omg whole day. I guess one should check if possible hardware. My original keyboard 2010 the keys all work but not in combination left side command z. It cost in time and new keyboard but life is good editing again.
  4. And if rebooting does not work? Any ideas?
  5. Thanks for your input, I am rather lost as to where to look really. Its a Logic and Mojave OS bug. At least my MacPro keyboard right side command key works? Command Z. Just have to get use to using the Z on the left. The left command plus Z is OS set in the system and it works in all other applications, go figure. Just Logic changes. I have used working backups of the whole system drive and it still does it. High Sierra and earlier Mojave. Anyway time to create and not deal with bugs....Cheers DonH
  6. Should make it clear it’s the computer keyboard I refer to.
  7. Here’s my problem the left side of my usb keyboard the command key plus Z will not work? However the right side command key with Z will. The left side works with other commands in and out of Logic. I am using Mojave lasted OSX and current Logic. Where to start crazy....
  8. I presume you cannot record to m4p or load into a project without converting first? Be good if you could archive a session or project to lossless and easily open?
  9. Hi, I have archived older logic products converting all the Audio folder to m4p apple lossless. Opening the project(s) again Logic will not load the lossless files now in the folder back into the project? The trks are all blank? Before I convert back to Aif or Wav. Will logic load m4p lossless files into a project? Thanks DonH
  10. Update; It only happens on Boot of the Computer? I can close the project in Logic and open it. The plugin only takes seconds? I can close down Logic and re-open and open the project, no problem? Its on re-Boot or Boot from cold this happens? Only Ample Sound? Hum
  11. Hi, has anybody had issues loading a Logic Project with Ample Sound Sound bass in the sequence? Its taking Logic 2.5 mins to find the plugin and samples? The only thing I can think of is the sample library is on a internal drive on my Mac Pro? My CMP is a 12 core 3.4 ghz with 128 gigs of ram running 10.14.6 Mojave... Thanks for any advice help DH
  12. Figured it out! You cannot have the Lefthanded box ticked when creating new or editing. Shame Apple cannot tell you that? Anyway sorted....
  13. Thank you, I have done that, however either editing a chord grid or creating a new, I find it difficult to use the tools. Clicking on a string creates a Barr? Usually 2 strings not a dot circle. I struggle to move dots up and down frets or across strings? Difficult forsure. Somethings not right. I have tried to hold Alt, Control keys etc as I click but that’s not helping. Maybe there’s a setting or even a bug I am on the latest release.
  14. Thanks for that very helpful, it’s the Chord Grid again thank you
  15. Hello, I am look for advice on creating guitar chord symbols in Logic? I can add the chord names as markers? However my goal is to remind me later what the fingering was? With no Midi trks the Score Editor would not work, unless I create a midi trk which I can do or convert audio to midi? I am unsure you can create your own fingering chord symbols in Logic. Any thoughts advice would be well received. Thanks
