  1. This is awesome! Paid and Downloaded the files! Looks great!
  2. No I did not! I'll do that now!
  3. I've seen some people offering a service on-line converting old .lso files to current LPX files. But none of them I tried replied to my emails. It happens to be that I have some files from the late 90's that need converting. I think a computer running Logic 7 can still open these files and save them as Logic 7 files that can be opened in LPX or something. Is there anyone here who can do this? Thanks, Theo
  4. You're welcome! As for the nudge controller setting, I'm now using: Class: Key Command ->Command: Main Window Tracks And Various Editors -> Nudge Region/Event Position Right(or left) by Nudge Value Works great! No more undo problems
  5. Checked it just now and I can repeat it! Maybe someone can verify this?: Create a control assignment in control assignments - expert view with the learn button twist a midi knob to record MIDI message set controller Assignment Parameter to Global - Nudge Selected Regions/Events - Ticks Now Nudge works but my undo is broken again. I don't know if this counts for other assignments too (I haven't seen any, and I do a lot with controllers) To nudge regions with a MIDI knob I now use this controller assignment: Key Commands - Main Window Tracks And Various Editors - Nudge Region/Event Position Right by Nudge Value (and left with the next parameter). I do this with a signed MIDI knob where when you twist it to the left it outputs 127 and to the right 1. I have an assignment for both the left and right. Works like a charm. Nudge Value is set with another knob. I'm on Mac OS 10.14.6 / Logic 10.5.1 btw..
  6. although at first I thought it was the time thing that cured it, I think it might have been a controller assignment. iirc I had a controller assigned to the 'nudge' function that was causing the weird undo behaviour. I have the 'nudge' function set up some other way now. Tomorrow I'll be back in the studio and I can tell you more but I think it was the 'nudge selected region' by a set amount (bar, tick, etc) and now I do it by 'nudge by value' and then it follows the nudge value the session is set at at that moment. hope this helps! It's late here now, see you tomorrow Should have posted it here.. sorry..
  7. Can anyone verify this? The Sampler's attack parameter on the ENV1 AMP doesn't seem to behave as expected with automation and learned control assignments. It looks good but doesn't goes back to a fast attack time. Quick sampler works fine. I can't get this to work with Sampler though. Theo
  8. Yes and thank you for all the help! Just checked the other user account: Settings where correct in there so that makes sense! Been working with PT for the last 2 years but switching back to LPX in a couple of weeks. Must stay fluid on both platforms I think. Would have come across very unprofessional with the client hearing me swear every 20 seconds! Cheers!
  9. figures why it seemed to work after I removed the prefs, my mac just hadn't updated the time yet. (No Internet here in the studio, so I use my phone as hot spot)
  10. Okay, this is weird! As I'm typing here and seeing your comments I notice that all comments say 'an hour ago' while it's just minutes. Made me think. Opened 'date and time settings' and saw that while my time zone was correct (GMT +1) Amsterdam, the 'set date and time automatically' was on and set to 'Apple US'. changed it to Europe and again: No gaps! (for now)
  11. Just an old usb Mac keyboard and a track pad. No mouse. also two Icon fader controllers and a BCR2000.. but that's midi. I checked that with a MidiMonitor app and don't see anything weird there
  12. Yes, it seemed gone but it reappeared. I’m pretty sure I also did a lot of testing editing with regions first time after removing prefs.
  13. Ok, After some more testing I found out that the gaps seem to appear when I select a region in any way. So, just clicking or shift click or move up a track so it selects all regions or click and drag. Etc. Also, when I stop recording, It selects the region I just recorded and creates a blank. So, it’s only when dealing with regions. Not with automation not in the mixer or plugins. (Guess I was wrong on that one)
  14. Nope, gap galore all over again!
