Hi there. Did you find a solution? I am in a similar situation and find that my CPU often maxes Out. I don't know if having 6,8,12 cores or 12, 25 or 30 mn of l3 cache ( whatever that is ) will be of any benefit to me . Also would just having a ssd alone lessen likeliness of maxing out a quad core? I have 16 gb of ram that is often almost all being used in a session but when i purge kontakt instruments to free up ram it does t seem to help at all. Cpu cores maxing out is the problem . Can logic even utilise these huge specs ? Thanks in advance

Hello. I have a track stack designated to all of my busses. It contains all my effect sends. When I solo my snare channel, i just hear my snare. But if I then also solo my busses track stack , I also see many other tracks become audible. (These other track's solo buttons flash on and off). In other words I can hear the a bunch of other dry channels. I do not want this to happen? Why does it happen? are these tracks becoming soloed also because they share a common send with the snare channel? Thanks in advance

Hi there. Since the update to 10.2.1. I have noticed a regular problem with the program reading and following automation. Logic has always been not the best at following automation. Sometimes you have to "remind" it to read automation changes by clicking and moving the automation line manually to "wake it up" . I have tolerated this for many years now but now it has got even worse. Now when I attempt to "wake it up" it often does not wake up and has become very unpredictable as to when it decides to read the automation properly. So I wonder what is going on here? I have selected the setting option for sample accurate automation to include plug in parameters. This is a very troublesome bug because I rely 100% on automation to compose. The release notes for 10.2.2 do not mention any improvement to this so I am reluctant to update as updating is what got me into more trouble in the first place. Thanks so much for helping .

Hi. When I set the cycle/loop bars to an odd offset position from the more defined bar lines, Logic sends a dangerously loud glitch pop through my speakers, causes Audio Hijack pro to Quit suddenly and also causes the signal meter bars in my RME mixer software" Total mix" to freeze in the red. WHy is this happening. I afraid my speakers will be destroyed soon . To avoid this I avoid making cycles within the time line that are offset but this is a time wasting work around. I then have to reset the audio sound card settings in preferences before Logic will play sound normally without interruptions. Until I do this all signals from the channels fail to be summed to the stereo output channel but the signal can be still seen on the individual mixer channel meters. Hi there. WHen i chose 128 or 192 as a division setting in the transport bar, the piano roll doesnt show these divisions. every other division below these two is fine. Whats going on here? I dont remember this being a problem in Logic 9. Thanks a lot for your time

Hello. My keyboard Cursor keys are not behaving as expected. I want to assign the left and right keys to "Select Previous Region on selected track" & Select next Region on selected track" respectively. But when i do this using the "Learn by Key label", instead of selecting the next/previous region, the key command selects no region at all. Ive also tried assigning my cursor keys on the mackie mcu pro and that has the exact same result. What is the reason for this? Thanks in Advance

Hi there, I have an issue where the encoders on my MCU pro are not acting right. When I use the v-control to pan, one click of the knob pans hard right/left instead of in increments. Also the jog wheel moves the playhead by what seems to be 127 steps at a time. And Navigating through parameter pages also is going all the way to the last page and skipping the pages between when I am only pressing the button once. I have Initialised all key commands, reset the computer, restarted the Mackie MCU Pro and still the problem persists. It was acting normally earlier today, and I suspect that I may have changed a setting which I now can not figure out how to reset to default. I thought it was that I changed the "Resolution of relative controls" to the maximum setting, however I changed it back to 127 but that did not help. I also tried to customise some controller assignments briefly which may have caused the problem, but as I already mentioned, I have tried to reset everything since then. I did fiddle with the settings in the Control surface set up window. ( CS Group: Control Surface Group 1 ) Lastly, Should I be using Emagic Logic Control, or MCU pro in the Control Surface set up? Is there any advice that anyone could offer please? Thanks for your time.
