For those wanting to re-install all their apps or do a fresh Mavericks install or even deploy to several macs. I've figured out a way to easily install the content for the likes of Omnisphere, Logic Pro, NI Komplete and others. This is also handy for those installing to Macs with no CD/DVD Rom drive or the new Mac Pro's. I am yet to try this with the AVID/Air content installers.
All you need to do is copy the .pkg files from the installer DVD's.
You will need to "unhide" them cause by default they are hidden.
In Terminal app run "defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE"
then copy the files. Once you're done you can switch of show hidden files by running the following in Terminal app, "defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE"
Create a folder called "Content" in there create two folders. One named "Installed" and one named "ToInstall" and place the .pkg files in the "ToInstall" folder.
Open Applescript editor and copy the following script in there and run. Simply select the "Content" folder, enter your password when prompted and let the process run. some of the smaller (2mb) Logic Pro X and Logic 9 content packages fail to install with this process and require manual installation by clicking and running the install the regular way.
Applescript
Hope this helps someone.
