  1. @Bowman I've replied to your report by private message, click the little mail icon at the top right of this site to read your private messages. Thank you!
  2. No, unfortunately, you can't customize Smart Controls layouts. I really hope that in the future we'll be able to completely customize layouts, that would be a great addition to this feature! Only in some layouts, by entering your label text in the inspector: To change the master layout, choose Track > Show Output Track, select the Stereo Out track, and change its Track layout. It will show the Master only if the selected track's output is set to Stereo Out. Otherwise it displays the Smart Controls for the Aux that the track is routed to.
  3. @JakobP I'm having a reverse groundhog day experience here. Shouldn't the panning be visible on the source channel meters too, like below — as you pointed out yourself last year in the thread linked below?
  4. Can you attach a copy of the project with zero plug-ins in the Mixer and with the latency so that one of us can give it a try?
  5. No, sorry. It's only available online in the Articles section of this website.
  6. Yes indeed, same result. From now on, either keep watching the Tempo list, or use a custom LCD display (click the down arrow on the right in the LCD display and choose Custom) so that you can constantly see the four digits after the decimal point and monitor your actual accurate tempo throughout your production process, and that way you should be able to tell at which point this error creeps in.
  7. You can map a button from the Smart Controls pane to the Goniometer tab. If you want, you can then map that Smart Control to an external MIDI Controller. Or you could assign it to a key command using 3rd party software like Keyboard Maestro. To map the Smart Control button to the Goniometer tab:
  8. You can map any instrument, Logic or 3rd party, to the CS12, it's just there aren't any pre-mapped pages, you have to map them yourself. Click the link to the "Software Instruments and MIDI FX" section of my article:
  9. Oh yes it's from the "..." menu at the top right:
  10. If you're willing to save a copy of your project file with only those tracks and one other track for tuning reference, one of us could have a look? You can use Google drive or something like WeTransfer to share your project.
  11. Ok then select your audio regions, and look at the Transpose values in the Region and Track inspectors, in the main window on the left?
  12. First things first: What was the sample rate of the project when you started recording your guitars? What sample rate is the project now (listed in File > Project Settings > Audio)? What is the sample rate of the guitar recordings (listed in the Project Audio browser)?
  13. I would say that Sample Alchemy is quicker to be creative with. Just drag and drop some audio files and start tweaking to create your own sample-based synth instrument, it's kind of a fun process. When you need to go deeper, Alchemy is the king, and it also has all the other synthesis power - and you can always open your Sample Alchemy settings in Alchemy to tweak them further.
