  1. You can map any instrument, Logic or 3rd party, to the CS12, it's just there aren't any pre-mapped pages, you have to map them yourself. Click the link to the "Software Instruments and MIDI FX" section of my article:
  2. Oh yes it's from the "..." menu at the top right:
  3. If you're willing to save a copy of your project file with only those tracks and one other track for tuning reference, one of us could have a look? You can use Google drive or something like WeTransfer to share your project.
  4. Ok then select your audio regions, and look at the Transpose values in the Region and Track inspectors, in the main window on the left?
  5. First things first: What was the sample rate of the project when you started recording your guitars? What sample rate is the project now (listed in File > Project Settings > Audio)? What is the sample rate of the guitar recordings (listed in the Project Audio browser)?
  6. I would say that Sample Alchemy is quicker to be creative with. Just drag and drop some audio files and start tweaking to create your own sample-based synth instrument, it's kind of a fun process. When you need to go deeper, Alchemy is the king, and it also has all the other synthesis power - and you can always open your Sample Alchemy settings in Alchemy to tweak them further.
  7. Ok so that's actually two (connected) loop-the-loop icons. 🙂
  8. Just tried it and I don't get any errors, the install went flawlessly here. Maybe the download wasn't finished when you tried to decompress the .zip file?
  9. VSL offers a free overblown contrabass flute, the Fujara Flute (this one has really cool timbres): https://www.vsl.co.at/en/Free_Instruments/Fujara_Flute
  10. On the Stereo Out channel strip? When this occurs, is it after you've left your Mac idle for a period of time?
  11. If they have the same specs (Processor, number of cores, RAM and disk), then the main difference is that the MacBook Pros have one or more fans, which can get noisy. So I would say that if the specs of a MacBook Air are enough for you then get the MacBook Air which does not have a fan, does not get hot and won't need a fan, and thus won't make any noise.
  12. I would save a copy of the project, so that you can do some tests in the copy while leaving the original untouched. Now in the copy, open the Mixer and remove all plug-ins. Is the latency now gone?
  13. Make sure all those plug-ins on the Aux are stereo? You can click hold the little double-arrow symbol that appears on the right of the blue plug-in inserts when you hover your mouse pointer over the insert to check its mono/stereo format.
