  1. David Hi, I am sorry but I cant make it work. I have loaded an Apple Loop, enabled Flex Pitch (Monophonic Mode), enabled the volume tool but nothing changes inside the waveform. What do you mean a note beam ?
  2. Does anybody knows how the volume tool in logics wave editor works ? I tried several times and nothing changes. What is the purpose of this tool ?
  3. Smllechtim Hello, I am intrested in byuing this iConnectmidi2+ device and use it with Logic Pro X. Does it worth ? Is reliable ? Stable ? Thanks in advace.
  4. Ok, so based on this we always need to use dithering when bouncing a track ?
  5. Hello to the forum. I was wondering if Logic Pro X is a fixed bit rate with a 24bit internal resolution or works based on the 32bit floating point ?
  6. Normaly when I was creating external midi tracks I was able to give a different midi channel to each of the 16 midi tracks. Now changing the midi channel number to one track changes the midi channel number to all the 16 external midi tracks. How can I reset this so to be able to set a different channel number to each of the 16 external midi tracks ?
  7. Is it possible when using a hardware controller to control logics au instruments or plugins to make a value continue from where it was left ? What I mean is I set for example the filter cut off of EXS to 60 and then go to another AU instrument and set its value to 90, using the same knob. When I go back to EXS and use the same knob to control again the filter cut off, the parameter jumps to the value of the other instrument been 90 so this is kind of confusing. Is it possible to make it move from 60 again ?
  8. I open a VST and do a midi learn of a parameter to my controller. Fix the value I want and them move to the next VST. Do a midi learn to the vst parameter I want and everything works fine. The problem is that when I return back to the previous VST the parameter I want to control continues from the value I have setup to the other VST loosing the value it has. This is pretty confusing. Is there a way to set it up so when I select each VST the value continues to move from the position was left ? Thanks.
  9. David thank you for your reply. What I did was: As you advised I selected the Include Volume/Pan automation in the Export window and Exported all audio. One file per channel. Then I have imported all the files to a new project with the Stereo and Master Out to 0db. Then in Logics mixer I selected all the channel strips and moved them in the -12db position, leaving the vocals at 0db. And boom the mix sounded great with the vocals bright and loud on top of the mix. Your idea about computing the values of the Stereo and Master sounds logical but I don't understand one thing. The Master Out doesn't influences the volume of the exported files, correct ? So What is the advantage of setting it to 0db and then setting the Stereo Out to -7.7db.
  10. Logic Pro X is awesome!!! The only thing I don't see and I am a little disappointed is the option to categorize plugins by type and not only by company. Eg: All EQs together, reverbs, compressors etc etc… Please Apple please...
  11. Hello guys, A friend gave me his mix to prepare it for stems mastering. So I did use the command File > Export > All Tracks as audio files so to work with the wav files in order to prepare the mix groups for the stems mastering. When I have imported all the exported files to a new project I had distortion and the stereo out peaking in hell, meaning that its meter is stuck in +6db and doesn't move at all…!!!! What do I have to do to get the levels he has in his mix ? Do we have to mix it from the beginning ? As I understand the problem is that his stereo out is set in -12db and the Master channel in +4.3db. I am including an image of his setup. Also he has recorded female vocals that they couldn't be heard even if the meters show good levels… Please help I am confused…
