  1. Keyboard shortcuts works fine. Actually i've managed to make it work with my Korg keyboard but it does not work consistently, i think it's related to a human factor, keys velocity What is the best way of Midi Learning Key Commands, when using notes? I mean, Note On command, Note Off command, is Velocity is an issue? because in my case, when i push softly the keys it did work... ! Thanks again David!
  2. Nope. Tried that again on an empty project with no luck. It's good to know that this is a local problem on my system, which indicate that there is a solution. I didn't upgraded yet to 9.1.4, maybe someone with 9.1.3 will try? thanks again. ps. sorry for posting it on the wrong place!
  3. Hi guys, I will really appreciate your help with this one. I've been using Logic for several years. I love using markers and navigating using them. I regularly use the keyboard for this purpose, with my own key combinations. The problem is that when I tried to assign Midi command for the "Go To Next Marker / Go To Previous Marker" logic does not response. On the other hand, the Go to Marker Number 1,2...,9 works as expected. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1026651/Junk/keycommandLeran.png This behavior might be a bug on the Key Command section. I would really appreciate if someone with try it on his system and let me know if he has the same behavior. Thanks a lot. Elad
  4. Hi guys, 4 months ago I've made a new soundtrack for a YouTube movie. I've made it for my own educational purpose and because I thought the original soundtrack wasn't representing the vibe on the vid. Since this was made for my own educational purposes, I thought... why not share it on the web? maybe someone will gain new ideas just by viewing the sources The video can be seen here: the original project can be downloaded from here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1026651/Haircut.zip (I guess 99% of the project is pure logic insts and effects... I don't really remember). Enjoy! ps. there are some creepy sounds inside, beware! jk
  5. adding to slamthecrank's reply: Or a sample delay I think that in this case it's the same guitar recorded twice and then fully panned. it is possible to pan freq. ranges as well. for example the Stereo Spread plug-in is a good place to start.
  6. my recommendation: turn everything around you off, close the door, start playing the guitar/piano with basic chords and wait for inspiration... When you find one, record it...
  7. Hi guys, I reshape the icons to me round at the corners (and it's much better now ) and saved the files in a icns format. to replace to old ugly icons, right click on the Fireface Mixer.app and click on "Show package content". There, under Contents -> Resources replace the existing icns file ("mixicon.icns") with the file on the zip file. Do the same for Fireface Settings.app Thanks for the original uploader! 8. Hi, as you probably see, I'm new in here so HELLO My name is Elad and I am a music producer for the lest 8 years working mostly with old Logic 5.5 on a PC. Last week my PC crashed and I thought it's time to invest lots of money and move on to the real thing. So, I just bought today a brand new Mac Pro and Logic Express. Anyway, it has been a long day with a lots of copies and backing up. I just now installed Logic Express on my system and tried to open an old logic project but I couldn't ! The files are grayed out and I can't see any tool tip by logic so I wonder... Is it possible to open an old logic 5.5 (PC) project on Logic Express 8.0.2 ???? Thanks in advance... ps. It's not my first time on a mac, I own a macbook with leopard, but it's my first try for logic 8.
