  1. Sorry it took so long! I opened a project that has a tempo of 91 BPM. I added another AD2 track and selected a loop that had a BPM of 172. AD2 asked me if I wanted to import Tempo info; I chose “No”. I thought that was weird, since I had already checked “Sync Tempo”. But it worked with no issues. So when the “Import Tempo Information” box pops up, chose “No” and it should work for you.
  2. I also use AD2. I’ll see if I can recreate your issue and get back to you later.
  3. I haven't been able to do anything in the studio for the past 4 days. I had ordered a new MIDI cable to use between my Arturia controller and a new Behringer Model D. I turned off the Arturia and plugged in the new cable, turned it on and tested the Model D. Success! Then I noticed that MIDI Monitor was now showing output from the Arturia. I fired up LPX and it all works just fine. I have zero idea as to why it now works... but it works!
  4. Have you verified that you are getting MIDI signal? MIDI Monitor would show you that info. Right now my MIDI controllers show up in Setup, but MIDI Monitor does not register any of my keystrokes.
  5. Uh oh, did I win at “Stump The Experts”?
  6. The only other thing that I can think of is that my iMac got its power unplugged accidentally, but nothing was running at the time.
  7. Now that I think of it, that controller was working yesterday. I wanted to see what channel my Arturia controller was transmitting on, so I booted up MIDI Monitor. It showed that the Arturia was transmitting on channel 5. But not today.
  8. Thing is, I know that at least one of the controllers was working the other day, because I was trying out the Mellotron in 10.4. So it worked, then it didn’t. I did change to a new hub, but I have one of my controllers plugged directly into my iMac, so a hub shouldn’t affect that one. None of them work. The only other thing that I can think of is that I reset the NVRAM, but how that would affect MIDI baffles me.
  9. I sure hope that the experts can help me, this one has me thoroughly confused. I was messing with a project in LPX 10.4, and I noticed that my Arturia 32 note controller (which is plugged directly into my iMac) was not working. If I used the onscreen keyboard I got output, but nothing when I pressed the keys on the Arturia. I opened up MIDI Monitor and noticed that none of my USB controllers were listed. I next checked Audio/MIDI Setup, and while my USB controllers were there, they were all grayed out. I hit the Rescan button, no change. So I made a new configuration named "Test", all my USB keyboards showed up, nothing was grayed out! I re-opened MIDI Monitor and they were all listed there as well. However, nothing registered in MIDI Monitor when I pressed the keys on any of my controllers. I went back to Audio/MIDI Setup and clicked back on my default configuration. No change. I clicked on my test configuration and all of my USB controllers were grayed out again. I hit Rescan, no change. Created a Test2 config and everything was there. But if I go back to any prior configuration, it messes up the newest configuration. And of course there is no output when I try to use any of these controllers. So I created Test3 and that's where it sits right now. Everything shows up, nothing is grayed out... and nothing works. Any thoughts / ideas / suggestions?
  10. Ah, so the answer is both "yes' and 'no'. David, a compressor wouldn't cause this. I am taking the Gain all the way down to zero, and all the way up as high as it can go. The only result is the visual size of the audio in that particular region changes from non-existent to huge; there is no change to the actual audio at all. I'll try experimenting with it to see what I can come up with. Thank for replying!
  11. What OS are you using? I haven't been able to get my TranzPort to work since upgrading to El Cap.What Synclavier drivers are you referring to?
  12. I am trying to adjust the Gain on a particular region, but the whole track has volume automation. Adjusting the gain in the Inspector changes the visual size of the audio in the region, but doesn't seem to actually change the volume at all. Does volume automation override the Gain parameter for a region? I'm using 10.3.2. Thanks, Doug
  13. Unless I am missing something - perhaps you're not near the MK2? - the easiest way is to turn down the volume knob on the MK2, which is located above the headphone jack. The next would be to find out if the Cuemix software allows key commands, and then execute that particular command before you hit 'Record'.
  14. Another option - check out your MIDI controller, see if it has a Transpose function. That way you can play in A, but it will send an Ab to Logic.
  15. My Arturia Analog Factory keyboard was doing exactly the same thing - only in Logic. Mod wheel worked just fine outside of Logic. Tried the Bypass, that worked! But now that meant that I had to search thru the key commands for the control surfaces. Didn't take long tho to find 4 "learned" key commands. I deleted them, and now the mod wheel works just fine! Funny thing is, it was only for the Arturia keyboard; the mod wheel on my other two keyboards worked as expected. Anyway, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
