  1. ( --- Thread was merged into here. Sorry, I didn't see this one --- ) So PDC on sidechained signals is broken. Since years. Probably most of you know this already anyways, maybe not. However I still want to address this as this doesn't seem to be that well known as it should be. And is the only major thing that really ***** me off big time. The .gif down here explains it better than I could write I think. So please report this s*** to apple. Maybe someday they get their act together and fix this. Here's the link to the apple logic pro feedback form: https://www.apple.com/feedback/logic-pro.html Here's the link to a gearslutz thread where a lot of details are clarified. Also the PDC Automation problem is explained here as well, as PDC has actually 2 major issues... https://www.gearslutz.com/board/apple-logic-pro/1295909-serious-old-bug-broken-pdc-completely-ignored-apple-logic-x-programmers-6.html#post14904457 For the people that still don't understand how significant this can get. I made a .gif where elastique pitch gets the sidechain signal from inst1, you don't even need to hear the audio, you can SEE how far off the sidechain signal is. In case the image doesn't work, just use the link. You can easily test this yourself by using a plugin that introduces quite some latency and has a sidechain input. Best, tL. 2. Hey guys, need help with a little thing here. I need a function that transposes every incoming note on midi channel 2 +24 semitones and leaves everything on Midi Channel 1 alone (pass-through). Anyone can help me here? Thanks & best, tL.
  3. The Arranger track is basically stolen from Logic, LOL. In Logic it's called "Arrangement Markers". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= Scratchpad is the improvement on that which is giving a lot of people headaches already over at the presonus forum because it seems to be pretty unstable. Of course. The new Gui Design Colors are stolen from Logic as well. Multi-Instruments in Logic = Track Stacks. Do a summing stack, include the instruments you want and when you play your midi on the summing stack, you have your multi instrument. When you *really* need theese FX Chains. Whhere Presonus didnt even bother to implement mid-side, you better get Blue Cats MB7 Mixer or Patchwork. More features and better. Or google Imageline Modular Host Beta. You can get that one for free. And does the same thing... Like in typical presonus style, things "look" a certain way and turn out to be not that great soon after you dig a little bit deeper. Especially you as a Logic User will see that for yourself soon enough. I would bet on that.. Lets speak in a week or two again.. Agreed that Logics Gui is still its weak point. Well, its *that* old, so Apple should really really really do something about it. But hard to sell that in a headline. And drag n drop is for young people. My hand hurts when I use S1 for more than an hour. With Logic I can go for two days straight without any hassles. Best, tL.
