hi all, i seem to have problem importing some files into esx sampler after ive recycled them. a message comes up saying that rex2 files were created by a later version of recycle and cannot be loaded with this version of the rex shared libary. please update rex shared libary. but it loads other files ive chopped. any ideas appreciated..

ok,i reloaded the samples and then did a "save as"and put the location as the UB folder in the song project folder. It's working now, thanks guys for replying. blacky. (by the way this is an excellent website david,top job!!!!)

yes i usually work from projects and i copy the samples,they appear in a seperate UB folder in the projects folder.they need to be loaded though when opening the song,strange eh!?! anyway what ive done is copy the UB samples folder from the projects folder to the folder which contains the presets.that seems to work for the moment.... but i'd like to know why UB won't just load normally after i've saved it. thanks.

o.k. that helps.. I tried putting the UB folder from the song project that i'd saved into the UB folder in the logic folder(where all the presets for UB are) and now it loads them up when i open my songs. thanks for the reply. P.S.isn't it alittle strange that your samples go in the exs folder?

ok i load the sample player david made,then i load say a kic and snare in the sample player. then i'll i go to save setting and save as "kic snare". o.k then when i close logic then reopen the song it says please locate the samples. It seems to save the name and settings but not the samples.i then have to remember where all the samples came from,and i have shed loads. so what i do after starting a session from scratch is to save the whole song as project and then when i open it again at least the samples are all in the ultrabeat folder,but i still have to find and load them in.

hi, my problem is when i'm U.B. as a sample playback device and i save what's been loaded, it doesnt recall the sample waveforms i selected.I have to load them manually from U.B. folder each time i load the song. It's time consuming and i'm sure it's not necessary. The manual doesnt really help. thanks.

every time i open the download it crashes logic any ideas whats going on. i download the sculpture icon click on in the desktop,logic opens and then says its unexpectedly quit.
