  1. Yes I read that but that could be months down the line. I went with the Grace Design M101 for pre and the Focusrite Scarlet 18i20 for an interface. Thanks!
  2. Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I've been away from Logic and this forum for 14 years and I can see things have changed a bit... I just ordered a new iMac 27" and have started to relearn how logic Pro X works but I'm confused about whether I need both the interface and a Mic Pre Amp? I still have my U 87i and through my research I've found out that my Apogee Element 46 is now useless to me. so here is my question: Do I need both? I think I do!? Also,I would also really appreciate any recommendations from the experienced forum members. I generally write songs and enjoy the creative process with two friends that come by to lay down tracks.   5. Hi, I have been working with logic express 8 and am fairly comfortable with it, but I recently installed M-Tron's Melotron software on to my I-Mac, I can hear it fine, and can record it, but I cannot hear it on playback?? it's there! i can see it, but I cant hear it. HELP! Henry
