  1. did this every get fixed? I'm having the same issue...
  2. of course that was it, i can't believe I missed that. I was aware of the function but not that it did that,... to that extent., i just must have accidentally changed the setting without realizing it. thanks
  3. This is a bit tricky to explain. I recently upgraded to logic express 9.1.2 basically: whenever i try and delete a region, all of the regions on that track move forward. If the region is one of the last regions, all the regions follow it. If its one of the first ones, the regions afterwards, don't move anywhere. can anybody help? It seems to be only happening in one of my projects... i feel like i must have flicked a switch, pressed some button, or changed some preference to do this... sorry if i'm not explaining enough or being detailed enough. thanks for any help.
  4. Hey guys, I created a empty slate patch for my ES2 plugin. Is there any way I can set this as the default to open patch? I tried saving it as #default but i don't think that worked... edit: Just figured this out... you have to save the preset in the parent folder of 'my presets' . sorry about that. you can delete this post.
  5. The drag&Drop preset means that you will only hear your sample, unaffected by filters, envelopes, etc. and without oscillators 1 and 3. Of course you can load anything you like into osc 2 for any preset, but you need to be aware of all the other synthesis settings in that voice preset that will impact that sound. You can also drag & drop .ubs files from the Finder on to osc 2's loader, but you lose the advantage of quick listen and previewing the samples in the UB voice. Sorry to bring back an old thread, but i've just been re-learning some of the more indepth features of UB. I didn't know that UBS files were specific files that may be layered etc etc (now i understand why one 'sample' was >4 mb. ) anyways... lately I have bee using the 'import' button at the top to find samples fast... I would load up some of the drum banks... ie "acoustic hi-hats" and then find a sample... but I wanted to import the folder of .ubs files called "snare acoustic" which is full of .ubs files. I can't do that. Is there any way to do that so that I can quickly import and browse multiple samples of just snares instead of having to go to the individual voices, select "load sample" and then preview the sounds? I figure that if I bounced each individual file to a .wav file than I would lose the 'layer' function in UB (which I don't know much about anyways) hopefully this makes sense, once again I apologize for bringing this thread back from the dead.
  6. anybody else having trouble downloading edgar's update for logic 9 on his website? edit: can someone post the original gui .tiffs for people who screw up modding their gui? (ie. me)
  7. great tip, but it doesn't work with chrome. anyone know why?
  8. they all actually do the exact same thing. There are no differences at all between the three. They just have look different, have different buttons, with different functions (and some the same) no but seriously, just go search this us on gearslutz.com and you'll find a lot of threads similar to this .
  9. I just feel that my rhythmic abilities when timed up to the klop isn't as good. I have a hard time finding the perfect settings on it to track too. nah, truth is, i just suck at tracking.
  10. despite logic's customizability in regards to a click, I find tracking to ableton's click much easier for some reason. Klopfgeist is getting better though...
  11. so if the device should follow the settings you choose in logic, what about interfaces that have a dedicated knob for changing the sample rate like my edirol fa-101.
  12. I just got the bricasti IR's and LAconvolver... it'll do for now.. I'm distracted from making my own IR's
