  1. Never mind. My woes are back after a few saves and launching the same project. Going back to 10.7.9 and waiting for 10.8.1
  2. I fixed all my issues with Logic 10.8 on Ventura 13.6.1 by trashing the Logic Preferences as mentioned above. Here is a link with a step by step. Seem to be stable now on all my projects. https://knowledge.apogeedigital.com/how-to-reset-logic-pro-trash-preferences
  3. Yep. I had the same issue. Spinning beachball in my work in progress projects. I ended up rolling back to Logic 10.7.9 for now and all is peachy again. My issues seems to be with Waves plugins which I use in my template. Likely need to wait for a 10.8.1 update and/or some 3rd party plugins to get an update. I reported to Waves.
  4. I just upgraded to Ventura 13.5.2 and had similar latency issues as described above in the thread. I am on a 2019 Intel Mac Pro. The small buffer range helped some, however it did not solve some hiccups in some of my more complex projects. After a ton of testing, I figured out that Brainworx plugins were causing some of the issues. Updating all of my bx plugins seems to have solved my issues with Ventura and Logic. Plugin Alliance did a PA major update to a large group of their plugs recently and it seems it is required for Logic to work smoothly on Ventura macOS. Hope this helps some others.
  5. I just tested and confirmed this bug still exists in Logic 10.7.4 🙁 I hope a fix comes soon. Removing tracks from folder stack to be able to assign a plugin parameter to an external midi controller is a real bummer.
  6. Ugh! Sorry to hear. I had a similar issue with my UAD extension being quarantined after upgrade to Catalina. I could not get the "Allow" option to show up for the life of me. Apple's insanely strict security has made life harder in some cases. I will email you what worked for me. It's a bit involved but worked to force the extension to be uninstalled and reinstalled.
  7. Hey Ville, Long time not talk. =) Big Sur is running stable on both my studio machines. I waited to upgrade until September when Motu finally got stable drivers for their MIDI interfaces. Everything is purring along now after the updates. Only thing I cannot use easily is the Stylus RMX Rex convertor and Virus TI plugin. I think Stylus is workable and Access is pretty much a lost cause at this point. TI plugin has been broken since Mojave. =/ Every other plugin and software dependency for me are good to go. I had not issues on all the recent projects I did for TI10.
  8. I tried to open a Garageband file in L9 today. It keeps freezing and crashing L9. Opened the same file in L8 saved as a Logic file and then opened in L9 with no problem.
