  1. It's been years since I've done this, so I forget how. I'd love to audition midi files in context with my project, but can no longer add a folder full of midi files to the loop browser. What's the fastest workflow for this?
  2. Thanks - that'd work, mind you, so does just dragging a little overlap. Just wondering if anyone had success with "New Tracks for Selected Regions"
  3. Thanks so much. I'm JUST getting into macros... I'm just wondering why the Overlapped version of the function works, but not the Selected version.
  4. Hi. I'm trying to cut up a large region, and put each piece on its own track. In the screenshot, the top shows the cut up region. I tried, "New Tracks for Selected Regions", but I think that's a typo that should read "New Track (singular) for Selected Regions" as it only creates ONE new track. BUT, if I overlap the regions slightly, then choose "New Tracks for Overlapped Regions" it gives me the result I want. (See final image). Is anyone able to put all selected regions onto new tracks in one step? (It's not a BIG deal to overlap them first, but I do this a LOT. I'd create a macro, but automating the drag seems tricky.)
  5. No. Screenshot settings below. I bounce once or twice, it glitches - try a third, it works.
  6. Hi - I do dozens of bounces daily. Since I've started using the new Mastering Tool, I'm getting tons of glitchy, crackling bounces, and they seem to be random/intermittent. Anyone else?
  7. Old thread, but thanks for this ! Just what I needed.
  8. Just tried it with Ventura, and it works fine. I guess I'll just have to wait until I permanently update.
  9. Hi - thanks - there's no corruption, it's on all projects. I really appreciate your suggestions - I'm just wondering if anyone has had specific experience with this particular issue. I've been running Logic since the late 80s, so I'll always start with the well-known "best practices" when there's an issue.
  10. The busses aren't hidden. When I try to delete an Aux strip, it also deletes random, unselected regions or tracks from the Main Arrange page. This has never happened before - I've been with Logic since Notator days. Just wondering if it's a 10.7.7 thing.
  11. I've been using Logic for decades, but something feels off. Trying to delete unused Aux strips from the mixer, sometimes also deletes tracks from the main page. Opening/closing the mixer below the Main page sometimes fixes it, but I usually work from a separate Mix window on a different screen. Has anyone else experienced this?
  12. I mostly use this room for writing and production. I send the important stuff off to a mixer, so I find the extra screens are worth it for my workflow. Thanks - hopefully someone will figure this out.
  13. Here is a complete overview of the problem. I sent this to Apple, but their Pro App "specialist" didn't seem to know much about Logic. https://www.dropbox.com/s/zw2mc8oyrycvn9j/Logic Screensets.mp4?dl=0 One Apple Logic advisor said he's having this problem too, and blamed it on Mac OS, but it works fine in ProTools. Anyone else?
  14. Thanks Alan. Yes, I restarted. Someone even suggested an SMC reset. I've gone back to not having Spaces on separate screens. This gives me my screensets back - I just miss having a menu bar and dock on each screen. (I have a lot of screens 😉 )
