  1. Hey y'all, Since upgrading to 10.5, when I'm auditioning in the Loop browser, some of my loops are slowed down. I mean reeeeeaally slowed down. I've tried both the Play in Song Key and Play in Original Key settings and they make no difference. It may be some older loops that I've had for a while that are doing it; I'm not sure. It doesn't affect all of them. Anyone else having this issue? Do I need to reinstall my Sound Library? Also, while we're at it. Is there any way to bring a loop into a session, particularly a sound effect, and not affect its key or tempo? i.e. put it in exactly as it sounds in the loop browser. Thanks!
  2. That's a good solution, thank you! I don't know that I would want to have it on all the time though. I'll give it a try.
  3. Guys, probably just being super dumb here. How do you drag a region to a new track while maintaining the exact SMPTE position? I know you can cut/copy the region and then use the "Paste at Original Position" function or lock SMPTE, but PT can do this via Ctrl+Drag. Am I missing something? And, what's that called in PT?
  4. Thanks for the thorough feedback! It definitely sounded like some sort of pattern, but the recording wasn't so important to try and re-assemble it. But again, thank you for looking!
  5. Triplets, sorry for the slow reply, I had given up. Interface was an old Zoom R16. It was on its way out and has officially been decommissioned. Pretty sure that was where the problem originated.
  6. Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, that's my assessment as well.
  7. Not necessarily a Logic question here, but I thought I would come to you guys for help... I've got some corrupt .wav's that sound like something happened during the A/D conversion. I think it's toast, but I'm just doing my due diligence here. Take a listen and let me know if you think there is any hope: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P4AwYOSiM1Z2fEQP1HpG1xn79dNSTMEg/view?usp=sharing
  8. UPDATE: If I delete the tempo events in the global tempo track, that get's things back to nearly normal. Still would like to be able to import with any tempo information at all.
  9. Hey all, Ever since upgrading to 10.4, whenever I import an audio file into an already existing session, it will change my sessions timecode to match that file. For example, I'll have a session where I've recorded something already. I'll insert a new audio file at 0:32 (drag and drop), and the project's SMTPE will read the correct timecode on playback up to that point, and then start over at 0:00 at the point where the new file was imported. I have my Smart Tempo settings to Keep Project Tempo and everything is off for all the other settings (see below) Is there another global setting that I'm missing? Anything I can do on file import? Whenever this happens (every time), it will mess up my marker times and also make any notes that I've take outside of Logic irrelevant. Probably something simple that I'm missing, but any help would be appreciated.
  10. Eric, thanks for your help on this! One question for you... We have 10-20 projects we are working in a week. Is it better to do this on a per project basis, or can you create one image to put all of your sessions in?
  11. Thank you, Eric. Can you elaborate on how you would do such a thing?
  12. Yep, I loaded a project locally and Selection Based Processing worked just fine.
  13. Yeaaaaah... that's probably the way to go. I'll try that and report back.
  14. Hey there, I'm using 10.3.2 with my project stored on a NAS, and it seems like the selection based processing isn't working correctly. Sometimes it will process the audio correctly, sometimes it won't... Sometimes it will kind of halfway process it. I switched to using a NAS for storage and upgraded to 10.3.2 at around the same time. Anyone had a similar experience one way or the other? Is it the NAS or is it a 10.3.2 bug?
