hey thanks! I heard of this, but I also heard to keep the sample in the same folder as the sampler instruments. It seems that some EXS instruments are not being recognized but some are. When I move the samples of the instruments to the folder pathway you suggested (factory sample folder), LPX recognizes them! Weird.

Hi there, Recently I got the OS Mavericks and did some permissions repairing to my internal and external hard drives. Now none of the default stock Apple Loops are showing up in Logic Pro 9 (posted this in another discussion) AND none of my sampler instruments are being "found" by LPX!!!! I tried moving all the folders and then moving them back so LPX would rescan them but it is till not recognizing them! Please help!

Hi there, I just noticed that after I got LPX, Logic Pro 9 is not reading the stock Apple Loops! I have tried reindexing, moving all the files to a different folder and reimported them and nothing works! I have done exactly the same thing for my 3rd party Apple Loops and have noticed that LP9 is NOT COPYING the Loops! However, once I manually move the 3rd party Apple Loops back to the User Loops folder and reindex, they will show up. But doing the exact same thing for the stock Apple Loops in the main library folder does not work!!! Any suggestions? I downloaded the "additional content" with LPX open, was there an Apple Loops format change? Please help! Only my 3rd party loops are showing up in LP9!

how do I copy the error log to send to Apple?

I know about that sharing J. Thank you though. But it is not the same as the Logic 9 bounce to mp3 and add to itunes directly along with writing the ID3 tag

I didn't have my question answered about the components.

`i really hate the way the new LPX is as far as recording my DJ mixes it doesn't automatically add the bounce to iTunes like it did in LP 9

`i have a lot of 3rd party plugins but there is NOTHING in my user component folder!

so you are saying `i should DELETE the components in the component folder? bc/ it just copies them to the new folder `i created, it doesn't MOVE them. Also, `i just discovered that `i have NO PROBLEM when `i do the exact same thing in LP 9!

Hi all, I have been having a problem with LPX crashing when I try to bounce an hour long recording. this has been happening VERY frequently. Pretty much every time I try to bounce one of my recorded DJ mixes. Any suggestions?

So I completely redownloaded ALL CONTENT. I did not select to just replace new. And after I did this and opened up my template and started a new project, all I did was drag in some audio files. I did not import any new instruments or midi and it gave me the same error! Saying "Some required content for this plugin setting is missing..." (see above picture). What the heck is going on? I think there might be a problem with one of the software instrument tracks that were already apart of the template? Can you guys take a look at my template project and see if you can see any possible issues?

I think that was the problem. there was overlapping regions!

I have already done this! Everything is already checked off that it has been downloaded. So why does it still keep doing it?

Hi, when I first installed LPX I thought I downloaded everything it asked me to. But periodically, when I try to save a project (from my only custom template that I always use) it tells me that additional content is required. Why does it keep asking me to do this when I only use the same template for all of my projects? Is there a way to download ALL "additional content" AT ONCE so my workflow does not get continuously interrupted? Is this a glitch?
