  1. Well yes that's exactly what I want to be able to do. My solution is ok but not ideal obviously the q isn't very narrow or even adjustable. So you can dig to deep without it affecting other frequencies, clearly no where near as good as notching out with an eq. But I guess it demonstrates how simply it could potentially be implemented.
  2. Ohhh and I think I've just solved my problem with a relatively simple solution, Ive mapped the synths EQ to the keyboard and fiddled around until its suppressing the area I want pretty much all across the keyboard
  3. I downloaded the demo, its really cool!! Just noticed that it doesn't follow the notes like I thought but it is a very good plugin none the less. Thanks. I like the fact I can choose between ffr and iir amongst other crazy stuff. Phenomenal
  4. Yes I have Soundtrack Pro. Thanks David and Jordito, I will look into both these options. I don't mind paying for an in DAW solution as I haven't bought anything for a while. Will try the demo if there is one, just checking now. Btw the DMG looks like exactly what I had in mind
  5. Hmmm good point, which leads me to think would it be possible to take one band from the channel EQ and some how tie it to midi note. I guess getting the position to be correct on every note would be a bit of challenge. That's even if it can be done?
  6. Is there a plugin available that can pick on a specific harmonic and suppress it? An Eq I hear you say, yes that is fine for static note but.... The only solution I can find at the moment is to resample after I have suppressed said harmonic but then I loose all the flexibility I had before
  7. Remember you can cross fade between two curves tho so keep a bit of knowledge of how phase works at hand and you can come up with shapes that are not actually visible if you get me? There probably isn't a shape that is not achievable by thinking outside the box
  8. Vengeance is what everyone uses, just go on their site have a look around and see what you fancy. The electro packs are very good.
  9. Ok so you swapped the cables over and the problem followed the speaker not your cables or audio outputs. Well it certainly looks like a speaker problem now, you know what to do! Manufacturers warranty, if you are in the uk and they are under a month old you are entitled for either a full refund or exchange. I don't know what the law is in the U.S but this thread is old now so guess you will have to just go with a repair.
  10. I use soundstosample by beatport for samples I find they have one of the better selections try this for what you are looking for http://www.soundstosample.com/genre/Soul__Funk__Disco/8
  11. are you referring to the drum fills? if so logic has some toms in the exs24 menu. There is also a bunch of fills in some of the vengeance sample cd's. If you just want to "cut and shut" then look for "drum fills" when you are doing your sample search.
