Hey everyone. I run Logic Pro 8.0.2 on a Macbook Pro with 2GB RAM, a 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, OS 10.5.6, and I'm using a MOTU 8pre as my firewire audio interface. Forgive me of my ignorance but just recently I have been getting this error message:
"Internal Job Conflict."
followed by:
"Logic has detected a possible conflict between one or more third party MIDI or audio drivers. Be sure to install the latest drivers for all audio and MIDI equipment connected to your computer, and remove any older or unused drivers."
These error messages occurs every now and then. I have to shut down Logic and restart it for it to work again. It seems that the error messages have only occurred when I have been working with Logic without the use of any MIDI drivers or my MOTU audio interface. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but I get this message:
The previously selected audio interface is not available. The built-in audio inputs and outputs of the computer will be used instead for this session.
Anybody having or had this problem? What's the deal? I'm really worried. The thing is, I have the latest audio driver update from MOTU (1.4.20). What can I do? All I have in my MIDI Drivers folder is EmagicUSBMIDIDriver.plugin and Motu MIDI Driver.plugin. I thought about deleting the Emagic driver but I wasn't sure if it was vital or not. I don't believe I'm using it. Just MOTU.
Thanks in advance!
