  1. Should I just forget about the past version of my os ? or can anyone think of another solution … .I do have a usb drive I can use but it’s not bootable or formatted the same way as the solid state clone drive ….I was thinking I could take the older usb drive and format it like the bootable copy I have …….copy the contents to that usb drive …..then back up the latest system os/partition that solid state drive ….and have two versions bootable ? I have no idea if that would even work . I have superduper …. backed up version I currently have on the solid state non partitioned drive is Catalina ….I know want both a bootable version of that plus a bootable version I’m currently on which is Monterey ? Can anyone offer any advice on keeping clones ….should I just keep the latest clone that works ? Thank you
  2. Well I didn’t partition my external ssd hardrive when I made my clone from the last version Catalina to Monterey and logic etc. all seems ok now so I’m ready to make a new back up clone . if I do I’ll lose my old previous clone (no partition ) using superduper. do you keep many different version clones or just the last one that worked out ? External ssds aren’t cheap lol…of course I could have partitioned but didn’t …duh
  3. All I’ve ever known is “library “….but I see it kinda breaks down things ….in the file structure there ….
  4. Thank you I’ll check in there. Appreciate the help!
  5. Do you know where I look on my internal computer for the crazy wild distributed sound library files ? I don’t know where I’d even look on my internal HD?
  6. I have a problem related and was going to start a new post but for now here it is … I updated logic from 10.5.1 to 10.7.9 I am constantly always never done installing all logic library sounds . There’s no way I could still need to download 33 gigs and then some …various categories too much to post. My library is on an external hardrive and was moved with 10.5.1 to save internal disc space but oh man ….anyone ? Seems I’ve re-downloaded the same sounds over and over ….should I start over and then move the sound library to an external hd? It’s really a long process and never goes smoothly …
  7. I keep au and vst ….. I keep vst 3 on an external folder in case I need but prob won’t ….AAX I either don’t install or toss. I usually test a new plug after install just to see how it sounds and verify it works
  8. Got support ….they will be releasing update soon 😎
  9. Does anyone run this plugin on a Mac ? Anyone at all. I tried contacting support and heard nothing back in weeks so I’m at this point giving up …. thought I’d ask here before I completely ignore tonocracy for good . Thanks
  10. Do you keep all plugin formats versions ? vst , vst 3 and aax versions along with AU for logic ….. of plugins when offered ? I’m aware some people run multiple daws but just curious what formats you keep on you internal HD…! I just moved 13 gigs of vst3 versions of plugins to an external today ….thanks
  11. What ended up happening please ? Did you get the time reduced more or change versions of logic etc ? Just curious ? I realize this is an older thread .
  12. Wow …audio plugin uninstaller was great (highly recommended )…there were so many weird files with Tonocracy and a few other plugins ….thanks FLH3!!!
  13. Seems since I updated to a later version of logic …. My old sessions from the previous version at first scan the plugins and was taking a very long time . Makes sense . …after I save to the new version of logic …the load time is way less ….still not as quick as before the update so I’ll be re -building /tossing the old cache..,unless it starts trouble …I did check all pluguns in plugin manager and they are all successfully passed
