  1. That did it! Thank you very much!!!
  2. How do I unlock an audio track? There is a small 'Pad Lock' on the left top of the audio file. I can not move the file on the timeline, it just bounces back. Please see attached. Thank you
  3. Thank you for all your help. I did finally get the hover mouse over to operate. AdLimit is running at [2205 Samples=0sec] Since the Compressor is operating with the Audio Tracks, I'll just operate a Compressor from the VOC Channel. I really don't know why the whole performance sounds better under Low Latency Mode, but like always, I have to go with what sound best to me. Thanks for the help! You did help in a number of places and that got me thinking. Happy Thanksgiving
  4. Thanks des99: Picture of Mixer below. Nothing appears when I mouse over the insert. Something I didn't notice and I'm sorry to be an idiot, but I was not playing the music tracks when viewing that compressor insert. The compressor is working in both Low Latency Mode on and off for the music tracks only. The problem 'I think I have' is the Vocal Channel does not get to that particular compressor and I think it has to do with routing so I attached the 'Inspector' .jpg too. Hoping you see something.
  5. All I have is Logic Plugs. No Third Party. It's Logic's Compressor and is being disable on Logic's Stereo Out track. I have Logic's Compressor inserted to my vocal track, but it does not deactivate there. Only on the Stereo Out track where music and vocal are summed. I'd love to send the Logic file to have you look at it, but it's too big I believe I hear (on Vocal Channel) latency when I turn off Low Latency Mode. I don't think I have I so many plugs to cause a problem with this setup. Maybe I do. My vocal just sounds more in sync'd with Low Latency Mode on. But maybe my problem is something else. I don't know what more to say to guys without wasting your time. My settings are attached if that helps. Thanks to both of you for looking at this!
  6. I think I should use Low Latency Mode in this scenario? If I'm wrong please advise. I'm using Logic 10 to play backing tracks while I perform. My vocal mic is on Channel 1 and naturally I have 'Input Monitoring' on. If I turn on Low Latency Mode I get the behavior listed below. Stereo Compressor on 'Stereo Out' channel strip de-activates when selecting Low Latency Mode. Then when I de-select Low Latency Mode the Compressor on the Stereo Out' channel initializes again and works normally. Is this normal? Maybe Compressor on the 'Stereo Out' channel strip is suppose to turn off. Why would that happen. I need that compressor. Thanks for looking.
  7. I want to play my electric guitar into my Boss GT-1000, then patch the 'Mono Out' ¼" of the GT-1000 to a Focusrite 8i6 or MOTU Ultralite 'Input ¼'. I play live with Logic and the Focusrite and record at home with the MOTU. I'm concerned about the Focusrite or MOTU being damaged by the GT-1000 incoming signal. Thanks for the help.
  8. I'll try that. I'm sure you are correct! Thanks

  10. I can not get the volume automation to record/save while bouncing an audio stem. It would appear I need to save the automation in some manner. I'm trying to fade the last of the stem to keep the sound from ending abruptly. BTW: I'm bouncing this stem to a .mp3 file. Suggestion? Thanks
  11. Hi des99 It's really just a template of sort for me to record voice over instruments. I record voice LLM with slight effects on the channel strip. This lets me analyze the voice better. This channel is like my 'go to' channel for voice recordings. When I'm pleased, I re-locate the voice stem to a channel that already has high-latency plugins set. I don't have to turn off LLM because there are no effects on the channel strip with the high-latency plugins. Voice goes right to the high-latency plugins. Now I go back to the original voice channel that has LLM and start working on another take. I do this often so, I'm just trying to get rid of remembering to turn on LLM everytime I open the project I'm working. Thanks to David, I know there is no hope for me now. 😂 Thanks David and to all for helping!
  12. I added the button to my toolbar. 'Save' and 'Save As' the project does not keep it enabled. But, I might say, your method is better than mine, because I can just mouse up to the top now and enable it instead of drop- down efforts. I still would like that option to remain active all the time. Thanks for the help!👍
  13. At the moment, I have to 'Select' Low Latency Mode under the 'Record' drop down every time I re-open a project. I would like to have it on all the time after I have chose that setting. Can I set Low Latency Monitoring Mode as Default. I'll turn it off a whole lot less than I've been turning it on. Thanks
