  1. Thanks for taking the time to help me out. I got to the Click & Ports menue, but in order to see anything involving the actual ports I had to go New -> Physical Input. In there it had SUM, Caps Lock Keyboard, Port 1, Port 2, Musical Typing Keyboard, and Sync Port. No where did it specify the Midi Interface / Port though. In that menu, if I highlight the Click, there is a port selection drop down that lists the interface/ports exactly the way I imagine it would to accomplish what I need to. Only thing is it's for the CLICK and not the SEQUENCER. I wasn't able to locate any other place where I can select the interface or port. What am I doing wrong??? I really need to better my understanding of this whole environment thing, but more so right now I just need it to work.
  2. Please excuse redundancy if this has already been brought up in a previous thread. I am running a new Macbook Pro with Logic Pro 8 and Main Stage simultaneously as part of a live setup. I have 2 controllers, occupying separate ports on my midi interface. I am trying to make it so that one controller exclusively controls Main Stage, while the exclusively controls Logic. I was able to get Main Stage to only look at the Midi In port I wanted it to, but I can't seem to find any way to do that in Logic. I am somewhat new to Logic, and have been hearing a lot about this Environment Menu where you can cable things virtually to create your own routing. However I can not seem to figure out how to create this scenario. I simply am trying to STOP one controller from triggering logic, while continuing to allow it to trigger Main Stage. Thanks for any help! Joe Santarpia Miami, FL
