  1. Not sure what you think the problem is. This looks normal.
  2. But you could set it up once in a template. Then you have access to your midi stuff and plugin automation on the same track for each channel of your multi.
  3. Yeah I get that. The only thing I can say is to load instruments that give you serious problems in sampler mode. I have a couple of custom kontakt instruments that trigger 20 samples at once so I can crossfade. It is best when I load that one into the ram.
  4. @peachboy, memory server keeps samples out of logic. No worries about 4gb limit in 32. There's a setting in kontakt where you can adjust how much of each sample is loaded into RAM on an instrument basis. It is in instrument options.
  5. Nice. Cool idea.. We stiiiilllllll need a REAL fix for this though. Cubase has it right.
  6. Yeah no need to go out of logic. But you could of course and lots of people do. Easy way to get stems for a PT session is to send your different sections to different outputs then bring into pt and record
  7. Also folders are a good option for other arrangements if you want to go that route.
  8. Skip does work on playback and recording so you could just manually record instead of bounce.
  9. Options 1. record your own bass 2. get some bass slide samples.
  10. Don't know if I am doing something wrong, but midi take folders have never worked for me. Seems to be very very buggy and has been for a long time. A lot of times logic will give me the white regions...which means that the midi data is just gone... Also, it seems that midi take folders that have been flattened react very strangely to quantization. They don't line up to the grid...they kind of just move to random positions. Flattened take folders something just don't play back. To get around this, I have to create a duplicate track and move all the regions onto that track. Then flattened take folder will play back. Does anyone else experience these issues?
  11. You can also set your jog wheel or other controller to nudge your regions.... It may not exactly be the delay perimeter but it should give you the same results essentially.
  12. Not talking about recording. The include non-note midi events is for moving cc events with note events. Basically tying them together. For example, you might need to move around some notes in a piano part in the piano roll. With include non-note midi events selected, (found in the functions menu of the piano roll) your sustain pedal midi events are supposed to move too....
  13. I haven't used the include non-note midi event feature in a while but it doesn't seem to be working. Anyone else?
  14. I guess really I would probably avoid freezing if you can. It really depends on who you work for/if your client is going to be there with you. Freezing/offline bouncing of any kind of still kind of frowned upon by a lot of people, especially people who aren't producers or composers and who are used to houses that do everything in pro tools. It kind of freaks them out and reminds them that you are using a computer that is doing calculations instead more traditional methods.
