  1. Indeed 🙂 It was me who restarted the thread. I haven't been here for a while and was just going through the "Tips and Tricks" to see if anything of interest came up. Just from the wording of the original question I thought you were looking for a "best of" or a greatest hits type list,( Most frequent, I think was the term used) which I would have been curious about, just to see if there were ones I was missing out on that are frequently used by other members. No intention on my part to cause upset to anybody, just being curious I guess 🙂
  2. Hi, Yes indeed I have. It just struck me as being one of the older processes within Logic that could be made that bit simpler and quicker to implement with a little tool, like the new gain feature. A process that's always been there, but just made a bit easier to use.
  3. Am I right in thinking that you are looking for a "greatest hits/top 20" kind of list? Ones that people use day in day out?
  4. Oddly, I'd like more AI assistance with the humanise function 🙂 It seems like the current way to humanise midi within Logic has been unchanged in decades. It would be great if there was a simple tool that would allow you to select the parametre you want changed/humanised. A bit like how the new gain selection thing works. Keep the current way of doing things for those that like to really dig around.
  5. This guy does some really useful videos. Here's one on bus use in Logic.
  6. Hi, Yes, I tried a different set of keys, the default was command then comma. This wasn't working so I changed it to your keys, which didn't work until I deleted and saved the windows I had in Logic. I do know that Alt tab was working in Safari as I use it all the time, so just the old Logic template that caused an issue for me. By "screens" I meant the pages/screensets Cheers
  7. HI, I meant that I went into the system preferences and tried resetting the keyboard combination to see if I could get the same functionality. That didn't work BUTTTT I tried re-saving the different screens in my template and that did the trick So I just got rid of the old Mixer and piano roll windows and created new ones, renamed them and the shortcut worked. So maybe it's just to do with templates created in pre High Sierra??? Thanks again for you help, much appreciated. Any other shortcut info greatly accepted Cheers Vinny
  8. Hi, I can still see the shortcut in the list of keyboard shortcuts, but just doesn't work. I've undone and redone the shortcut in an attempt to retriever it, but no joy. Apart from this, no other issues to report with High Sierra Cheers Vinny
  9. Since switching to High Sierra I can't get this great shortcut to work. Anyone else had this issue in HS? Thanks
  10. Hi, did the guys that couldn't see the new version figure out how to get it? I'm in the same boat, nothing showing up in the app store. I tried the reboot thing too with no joy. Cheers.
  11. I posted this up on Gearslutz about the colour palette. I'm not sure if this has always been the case, but there is a more substantial colour palette in the score editor. "I'm not that bothered by the colour palete thing..... BUT I was having a look through the score editor and I noticed in there ,under layout, that the have a menu option for colour. When you click on it you get a new project settings screen. There's a section for velocity colours. when you click on one of the colours it opens up one of those colour wheel things and you can set pretty much any colour you like for your velocity. So there is an extended colour palete in Logic already. I wouldn't have thought it would take too much work for the guys to make this available for the other parts of Logic. Maybe in the next update apart from all that, I'm pretty impressed with the amount of work done in this update."
