Have been working past few weeks for a short film submission deadline date today for Cannes film fest. Everything was working fine until today. Any help is appreciated so. the problem= logic hangs on loading play engine while I am trying to reopen after a edit and save. I made an alternative of the original and saved it too. Before closing Logic was responding sloppy so I saved and closed. Tried to re open now everything seems fine but when Eastwest Play engine starts to load it all stops and logic goes unresponsive. Is there a way to open from backups in the Logic file folders. If so how .Please help only few hours left for submission. Thanks

I am not sure why my previous comp take is audible while I try to record on top, it records the new take though..????. Am I missing a setting some where? In middle of a work and this issue.... any help much appreciated. thanks guys

my macbook pro 5400rpm hitachi Hdd failed ...... I am lookng to go for a seagate sshd drive 5400 rpm ( quieter and usable) http://www.seagate.com/internal-hard-drives/laptop-hard-drives/laptop-solid-state-hybrid-drive/?sku=ST1000LM014 like in the above link.... is there any known issues with logic during recording or playback. If you BIP all your tracks with effects printed audio ...then export as OMF....?? Would that do for you...?

It would be nice addition to have a mute automation button at the automation lanes. Also automated plugins can be indicated by some means in the channel strip view. Wish Logic 10 includes this feature.

Hi all, I had this problem of midi timeout and deep architecture just now ......I was trying to touch automate the tape delays wet slider in one audio track and after this this error kept coming. Restrated logic , duplicated the track which has automation moved the contents from original track to duplicate track ...deleted the original track which had the corrupted data when it asks for delete data( I only had very little automation on that track so it was fine for me ). It works fine now my logic is 9.0.2 and on os version 10.5.8. Hope this will help too. thanks, Maruthi

Ok I understood few things which is good to record here in Logicprohelp ...while importing a movie its a good idea to check if the audio is recognised by logic by trying importing the audio in a new track , logic pops up with a little warning screen saying somthing like " the audio format is unrecognised or no readable audio found " if this warning appears please re export the video with quicktime with a known readable format and then import it into logic .......not doing this will help you in learning things the hard way like the one I had in last few days........dot

Well David it doesnt worked in the logic way even if the last window of deselect appeared it still bounced the movie audio together ...so tried the quick time way but now I made sure the audio format is somthing recognisable by logic and exported as mov ......it worked this time phew 8)

thanks david, I did the same within logic exported incompatible file as mov and now logic recognised the audio and now imported that in the project and bammmmm got that last window of deselection...... thanks dave and jorditto

Thanks Jordito , Got this atlast... It happens to be the file format of the video imported into logic . There are limitations in logic to see the audio content of a video. Which means logic will import certain video files include its audio in the video and will not recognise there is audio content in it .But while exporting the new audio to video logic will bounce the audio of the video along with new video !!!!!! since logic sees no audio content in the video it will not give the last window for deselection..... the video format I was working is (multiplexed MPEG-1/2) these file formats audio content is unrecognised by logic pro 9 and will still bounce the audio content without notifications. thanks, Maruthi

Hi jordito, why am i not getting this last window for deselecting the movies audio track .....all of a sudden this window stopped appearing....and keeps exporting the new tracks along with the movies audio... how should I solve this ...? thanks, Maruthi
