I have to agree/disagree with you More Records.
I agree that the ability to sequence sequences is a great feature, but I still feel that the calling card of Live is elastic audio. The simplicity and intuitiveness is unsurpassed, in my opinion. The sound quality could be a little better, especially in complex mode, but the concept is just so juicy.
The grid subdivision thing I mention because I feel that Logic is so very bad at this; very un-musical and limited in scope. I work a lot with midi and I love the options in Live between the finite grid and the clip envelopes. I can really come up with interesting things quickly.
Of course, as I mentioned before, everybody is different, and what is important to one person may not be important to another. All is relative in art and DAWs.
