  1. Wonder if this has been reported/noticed before... In Sampler, the labels of the mini keyboard below zones do not seem to obey the C3/C4 setting in Logic's Display preferences. In my case, I've selected the Roland standard (note 60 = C4), but the labels still show middle C as C3. See the attached picture. (reported to Logic feedback)
  2. Whoever you are, and whatever you did, THANK YOU! My two AMT8s are now happier than ever.
  3. Was the AMT8 unit connected and powered on when you installed the driver? I vaguely remember this being an issue at some point (i.e. the driver installer thinks it's not needed, if the unit is not available at the time of the installation).
  4. To rephrase will3music's question above: has anyone been able to actually use Sampler Key Labels? In the Piano Roll window, in Sampler itself, anywhere? Apple has a page explaining how to create, save, load and delete them, but the page mentions nothing about actually USING them ( https://support.apple.com/guide/logicpro/use-key-labels-lgcp64b833d4/mac ). Key Labels would be extremely useful if they actually worked...
  5. What they said, all of the above. With or without shoes.
  6. Confirmed (Logic Pro X 10.5.1, macOS Catalina 10.5.5). Following the steps jwilliam listed above, Catch Playhead enables itself, even if all Catch settings are off. Rather annoying, to say the least...
  7. Another "me too" here. Although in my case, it was several years ago when Soundtrack Pro was still a thing. If I remember correctly, I had then MOTU's original 828 as my audio device. There was a rather lively discussion at Apple's discussion forums at the time (with lots of similar experiences), but I think the real reason was never found. Nevertheless, the sound blasts (happened twice, I think) were one of the most frightening experiences of my life. EDIT: just found the old thread I mentioned above: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2144002 . It was 10 years go. Thank you Dewdman42 for sharing Ice9, just added it into my Logic template. HeiLei
  8. It will show in your Outbox until the message is opened and Read - then it will move to your sent box. So until the receiver opens the message, it remains in your Outbox - it doesn't mean it hasn't been sent yet. (t's also a nice way to see if some one read your message yet) Thanks kc Ah, ok. You can tell I don't PM much, right...?
  9. Sorry for the misunderstanding: I have actually never used KM with Logic (I think...); I've always found that Logic's built-in key commands are more than enough for my (modest) needs.
  10. Ok, I will send them with a PM. (EDIT: ...which I sent over half an hour ago, and it's still sitting in my message outbox, waiting to be delivered... I'll try email if this won't work) (EDIT2: ...and now that I know how PMs actually work, we can forget all that. Thanks KC.)
  11. No problem. If you're interested in mouse click operations specifically, I can send you a few screenshots of all the various options that KM has to offer (in case they're not described on the product's web page).
  12. I have no experience with Slate Digital Batch Commander, but I've used Keyboard Maestro (KM) for 15+ years, and haven't yet found a problem that KM couldn't solve. Lots of options for macros, scripting and mouse clicking operations.
  13. Another grumpy old(ish) man here: great job, looks really nice! My 50+ eyes really appreciate the light theme with good contrast (I'm really not a fan of those dark-gray-on-black forum themes that seem to be everywhere these days). Well done!
  14. +1 It's rather ironic, that Apple really likes to add unnecessary and distracting transparency all over the OS X UI, and here we have a spot where it would actually be USEFUL...
  15. I just bought a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 a few weeks ago, no problems so far. It's not particularly high-end but gets the job done (and looks pretty, too ). The preamps give you lots of gain, which has been a great help when recording my not-so-hot electric bass.
