Hi everybody, has anybody come across this very strange and annoying behavior in LPX? I create a multitimbral instrument with its corresponding midi tracks. They are named tru the multi instrument in the environment. I pick a channel in the arrange window and try to write something in the track notes window (the one that opens at the right side of the arrange window). As soon as I hit Return to confirm my typing the multi instrument track changes its channel to "off" and looses its name that has been given to it in the environment. Nothing of all that happens when I type my notes in the track notes field of the mixer. However, whenever I go to the arrange windows track notes field and change anything at all, like the color, the above happens again. All this makes my usual work flow impossible. Very very annoying. Any comments, ideas, solutions? Thanks very much indeed M

Double click in the empty controller window of the piano roll doesn't create a controller node anymore. Sadly missed, was very time saving.

Indeed I do. But I encounter the same behavior when I start from scratch. And I know of a few other people who have the same problem.

Hi, I searched the forum but unless I missed something substantial nobody else seems to be bothered by this: LP 9 (and X!) randomly unticks the "notes" box in the midi tab of the projects settings. Which will consequently lead to unchased notes, of course. Which can be a pain in the buttocks. Am I the only one? Cheers M

You pointed me to the right direction. After I erased the pref file LOGIC behaves as expected. Weird, though. Upside: it works now. Downside: I'll have to re-enter my I/O-labels. Thanks for your support! M

Hi, I used the "Convert regions.." command for the first time today. Dragged a drum loop (AIF, no Apple loop) from the finder into the arrange window, selected it, performed the command (zones from transient markers) and as expected a new track was created with an EXS instance displaying the mapped slices. But no actual sample slices were imported into the EXS sample edit window. What am I doing wrong? Thanks a lot M
