  1. Have you managed to solve this ? I'm having the same issue here and the only way I found to solve it was turning off "Automatic Graphics Switching" in Mac OS System Preferences>Energy Saver
  2. Thanks a lot Erik! Any guesses on why my MainStage plugins are showing up like that. I haven't customized (at least not intentionally) them. TIA
  3. I can't find LoopBack plugin in my MainSatge 3.1.1 on my MacBook Pro (2013) or in my Mac Pro (2008) both using Yosemite (10.10.3). What am I Missing here ?
  4. Yes you can ! and no rewire need it. Just found this very good tutorial how to use Logic Samples with Sibelius 6. But I guess it will work with Sibelius 5 too. http://www.sibeliusblog.com/tutorials/using-logic-pros-virtual-instruments-with-sibelius-6/
  5. Couldn't disagree more. I just bought the GPO 4 trying to improve my Sibelius Orchestra sound. Silly mistake. It sound horrible. Logic bundled samples are fare superior. I just wasted 150 bucks.
  6. Another great moment... Singers are like Dolphins. 8)
  7. The core of Logic notation is almost the same back to version 4. (Looooong time ago). After more then a decade writing orchestral music with Logic I throw in the towel and migrated this year to Sibelius. I can tell you that it saves me a couple days of work per arrangement. So much faster. The 2 things I miss in Logic notation is the way it writes what you play and its sequencer capabilities. (Sibelius sucks in this 2 points) My mockups sound worst in Sibelius but I'm quicker and I get professional music sheets with little effort. I think Avid made a great move buying Sibelius and integrated with PT. I wouldn't expect seeing any dedicated Sibelius/Logic integration in future releases. The hope resides in a unexpected development in Logic's notation or an improbable Logic/Finale colaboration. I would be very happy with XML export tough.
  8. Should arrive with Snow Leopard If you want to practice your russian: Original Site all according to Logicprohelp.com 8) tough thing to be famous.

    Logic Studio 9!

You can include me on that, mate. I use Logic since 1995. I have happily paid every upgrade since then. But version 8 was the most abandon Logic version ever... I'm happy to see Logic 9 on the market but I'd like to see some commitment from Apple and a lot of upgrades with bug fixes.

    Logic Studio 9!

Would you spent 500 bucks on a software if you knew it would have only two minor updates ?
