  1. If you want t loop and need the absolute value put the region into a folder My key command is option+p For me this works well. I was sick after more then 20 years using Logic that these simple things are so buggy
  2. I am doing editing like this in the main window. Logic is so buggy with certain editing you better find a way around which works 😀
  3. Make sure to select an empty channel strip when you select a new track
  4. Yes, you could get a SSD for your projects pretty cheap today 😀
  5. I can't help you if don't have a backup, sorry. If you are little bit serious about producing get a backup, please. When you have a backup, you can update to Ventura 13.6.2
  6. I am reading a lot about 10.8 problems in the web lately. Can you go back to 10.7.9?
  7. C3 is around 262Hz. You can look at an analyser if it peaks around this frequency. Or play C3 on your midi keyboard with a simple sound on top of your sample. There are many ways to find out what root note your sample has.
  8. I am on Monterey as well. Sometime ago I deleted it with an app cleaner. A few days I downloaded it from the App Store, my version is 10.3.8. Does this info help you?
  9. Make a safety copy from your 10.5.1 first. Then update Logic. The App Store will take it to the latest version which is compatible to Monterey which is 10.7.9
  10. I understand. For me the only solution is to have my shaper boxes in the channels. It is pretty easy to copy and paste settings (if it is just 2-3 channels)
  11. Put Shaperbox in the channel instead of the bus. Does it help?
  12. Thanks for your help, fisherking and David. It has been quite an odyssey to get this controller working the last days... I found out that I should give the knobs different cc values. Instead starting with 0, I started with 36. Then I sent this to program 1. Now in Logic I could see incoming midi data in the transport window when I turned the knobs. So I was able to map cutoff, resonance, envelope and keyboard from my synth filter to the first 4 knobs. So next to find out is if can use the same knobs for a different plug in, like an Equaliser. Probably I need to safe it to program 2, right? I am really a Noob with this controller surfaces 😕
  13. Yes this could be the solution. However my Editor is version 2.0.2. from 2018. This is the only one available from Akai. Catalina is 2019, so I think I have to find a Mac with Mojave... Ok. I installed the windows version with the help of crossover. But I have no idea what I should do...online I found some videos but they were using a much older version of the editor
