  1. Or you could: duplicate the instrument put the bitcrusher on the new duplicate edit the ADSR volume envelope so the duplicate inst only plays the bass attack (very short)
  2. Some time has passed and I love this thing even more. I got an email from SubPac today announcing a new product: http://thesubpac.com/subpac-m2/?mc_cid=a08588cc6a&mc_eid=91c91430e4
  3. Here's a way to do it with Logic plugins: http://www.logicprohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18921
  4. Here's an old tutorial adv concepts environment tutorial.pdf
  5. After using the SubPac S2 all day yesterday, here are some more thoughts: Overall, I'm VERY impressed. Listening to music you're already familiar with is a wonderful adventure. You'll hear things you've probably missed for years, even in you own music. Using headphones with the SubPac is a fantastic monitoring setup, but I also loved using the Subpac while listening to my monitors. The Subpac functioned exactly like a subwoofer, the beats were pounding but the house wasn't shaking and the neighbors never heard anything! This device will be an incredibly useful tool for me.
  6. I just got one of these (model S2). Very impressive!
  7. Are you using Logic X? Go to Preferences>Advanced Tools and turn on all the advance settings.
  8. Would a Gain plugin work? You could choose Mono and then balance to the side you want. (in Utility>Gain)
  9. I can't see any difference between scrolling horizontally and vertically. I'm using an old wired Apple Mighty Mouse.
  10. The other stuff is my MIDI interface and controller keyboard. It sounds like you've got these things routed correctly. When you play your keyboard do you see any data in the Input View box?
  11. As an experiment, take out the Transformer and see what happens. The Monitor shows no note off, so something is removing it here if the keyboard works in other DAWs. It must be the Transformer because there's nothing else between the "Sum" input and Sequencer Input.
  12. What's the Transformer doing? A more standard routing of this Environment layer is like this:
  13. You need to re-engage the link (it's the two links of chain right above bar 4 in your piano roll). Click it to turn it on (it turns brighter color).
