  1. Yes, I did. Still messy.
  2. Hey Gang! I’ve been on a roll to clean up some annoyances in Logic of late, so now I turn my attention to the Loops Browser. Lately, when I dragged third-party loops in the browser, I’m not getting the prompt to ask if I would like a copy of the files to be relocated elsewhere. So, I have no idea if deleting the original folder located elsewhere will cause broken references to occur. How can I fix this? \ Also, turns out that I have some duplicates, and I’m unsure on how to get rid of them from the Loop Browser. I also have some loops that are grayed out, so not sure how to delete those either. I could use some guidance here; thanks!
  3. An update. The reinstall of Logic's factory Sound Library cleared up the issue. And, as cherry on top, I did not need to do anything to my Uber Patches that were there previously, as somehow, without any intervention, they are now working properly again too. As I make substantial use of those, it's a huge relief that I did not had to reinstall those. So, there you have it: done, and done. Thanks to everyone who chimed in.
  4. I looked up one of the threads that was part of the search results that @David Nahmani shared. Turns out, the problem is worse than I thought. And to think that I've been able to use Logic for months without discovering that not only are my select third-party libraries are affected by the error, but so are the factory-installed ones. That....is a buzzkill. Really. At least now I'll know what to do. As for the third party libraries, oy that tool time to put together, and now it needs to be redone. I believe I have the downloads. Thanks again, folks; onwards.
  5. @oscwildeI had a few minutes while waiting to check those permissions. Things look fine as I traversed through the Patches folder. When I got to the patch level, it's changed from "Read and Write' to "You have custom access," with permission for my user account is set to "Read and Write." Not sure if that's a clue, but it's something to deal with later. Might have to check with Terminal to see said "custom access" settings. And also look up the info that David shared, too.
  6. @oscwildeYes, permissions is kinda what I think it may be, as I have not come across a single patch so far in that library that did not provoke the error. Also, they are all on the internal SSD. I’ll have a look, later this evening.
  7. Sometimes, these errors make me feel like I'm alone on an island. then you guys come in and, somehow,I feel a little less lost. Thanks, gents; I'll look them up and hope that my solution will not take a long time to solve.
  8. Greets: I have a User Patches folder in Logic's Library, where I have copy and pasted select patches from a third-party sampleware library. It has worked well for me, in the past. They were created before I moved to Apple silicon. When I did move over, because had a few choice ones as part of my beatmaking template, I was left unaware. Because when I went into the User Patches folder and I clicked on one of the patches, I get an error "The operation could not be completed. OsStatus error: -50." This is for every patch that I have copied. Again, this was not the case when I set it up on Logic on Intel. Google....is of little use. I am hoping that some of you Logic users might be familiar with the error and can direct me to a course of action. I do have plenty of SSD space, 2TB out of 4TB available. Thanks, folks.
  9. I have owned a few Nektar products over the years, and I can say that the support folks are very responsive and accommodating. If an issue persists, it sticks with it until there’s either a solution or at least let me know when there are limitations that cannot be met by the product. I appreciate Justin, Tim and the other support folks there.
  10. Whoops....my bad! Looked like a YouTube video on my screen, but just a nice bit of media to accompany the article. Looking forward to that, still!
  11. Wait. @David Nahmani has a YouTube channel?! On it; looking forward to checking out the video.
  12. A few videos have been posted on YouTube about the Panorama CS12, since its release. But the one posted today by Chris at the terrific YouTube channel, "Why Logic Pro Rules," is perhaps the most comprehensive hands-on overview I've seen yet. As Chris talks about the features of the device, he demonstrates them hands-on, which is a nice visual approach that I appreciate. It's one thing to read the manual, and quite another to see the device in action. Nektar should hire him to do its (sorely needed) video tutorials, IMO. Watch here:
  13. I emailed Nektar’s support email address. I usually receive a reply sometime within 24 hours, or at least the next business day if it’s on a weekend. Not sure if the marketing email account is just one-way, but then I never used it. It was mentioned that, at some point, there was a change in which it’s possible that some email addresses from the mailing list could have been lost, so another possibility.
  14. I am on the mailing list too, and have not been getting them. I contacted ted Nektar support, and after confirming with them that I have not any of its emails hit my spam folder, it confirmed that an issue on its end was found and resolved. So if you've signed up also, but not receiving them, perhaps contacting support can sort you out.
