  1. The latest versions of Logic load plug-ins very very slowly. It looks like it now loads AUv3 plug-ins natively asynchronously on the Apple Silicon ARM version, and uses some kind of wrapper for AUv2 plug-ins, which makes them load a lot slower. You can see that when you open an AUv2 plug-in, it first opens in a small size, and then takes its final size. AUv3 plug-ins, on the other hand, open instantly.
  2. I think in this case the best solution is to enter own track names, some plug-ins like Kontakt or Reaktor from NI have problems with automatic naming.
  3. I just reverted to 10.7.3. On version 10.7.4 the "Compare" button in the plug-ins window no longer works for Audio Units (works for internal Logic plug-ins though). It works a first time to return to the initial state of the settings of the plug-ins, but when you click on it a second time, it remains no longer returns to the last seetings. Bug feedback sent to Apple.
  4. So true, I'm French and the first thing I do when I install Logic on my Mac is to switch the default language to "English". The translation is sometimes totally incomprehensible.
  5. Many bugs have been introduced since Logic 10.7. I've had this bug ever since.
  6. For me, this bug appeared as soon as Logic was updated to 10.7.2.
  7. You can do this with the "MIDI In Channel" of each track, but I think this track parameter is only available since Logic 10.7 unfortunately.
  8. Every time I log off or restart the computer, all thumbnails return to normal and replace the generic white icon appeared on some projects. Seems to be a realtime update bug of Logic's thumbnails, I don't know if the bug is from Logic itself or from Monterey.
  9. I have the same problem. I discovered that if I close the macOS session, and then log on again, all the icons return to normal with the logic project view instead of the generic icon. Is it the same for you?
  10. You can still use the hyper editor in the last Logic version, it is now called "Step Editor".
  11. Thank you so much, however, now there is no longer the challenge of rushing to click before the ad code loads Thanks for that, it really improve the site!
  12. You can do this with the EnVerb. It has a "Dry Signal Delay" parameter that makes the reverb able to occurs before the dry signal. It will however add latency to your session, because to play the reverb before the dry signal, Logic needs to add latency. You can start with the preset "Reverse Reverb Long" at starting point to achieve what you want.
  13. Just because an item is not used by many people does not mean that it should be removed or not improved if it is used by a few and there is no other tool to replace it (no other reverb in the Logic stock has negative delay to play it before the dry signal). I don't really understand why EnVerb bother you... We all have our preferred plug-ins, and ignore the others! This is what makes Logic so rich.
