  1. The Levelmeters in the Mixer are also delay compensated now. Best, m.k.beat
  2. And this one: Delay Compensation for Playhead and Levelmeters (Mixer and Plug-Ins)... Best, m.k.beat
  3. Hi, that's easy: A double click on projects that contain more than one Alternative will reveal a menu where you can choose between the existent Alternatives. Best, m.k.beat
  4. This is by design since Logic Pro 10.0.0. Best, m.k.beat
  5. Hi, there is a simple solution available (If your Mac is equipped with an HDMI output): Connect the HDMI output of your Mac with one of the HDMI inputs of your surround receiver. Now you will see HDMI as an available option for CoreAudio output in Logic Pro. Change the surround I/O routing accordingly and you will be able to monitor in surround. Best, m.k.beat
  6. The Score Editor must be in "Page View" to be able to export MusicXML files. Best, m.k.beat
  7. Just change to "Page View" for the focused Score editor. Best, m.k.beat
  8. Just curious: Why? You don't have to choose the AutoSave document after a crash, just go back to the last manually saved version. That would be the same behaviour as "AutoSave off". Best, m.k.beat
  9. Logic Pro X saves Backups and Alternatives directly into the project, no matter if you are choosing "Project Package" or "Project Folder" on first save. Backups will be created each time you are manually saving. m.k.beat
  10. The mentioned controls cannot be automated, each change here triggers offline rendering of data. Such a offline process cannot be automated. Yours sincerely, m.k.beat
  11. Hi jwhitesides, this is what makes your bounces go wrong: UAD 5.5.0 . Try again with a project that doesn't use UAD plugins. Best, m.k.beat
  12. Oh my o my... Does this old myth still exists? Modern SRC have no clue about integer factors, 88.2 KHz is obsolete, 96 KHz is just fine! There are absolutely no advantages to choose 88.2 KHz instead of 96 KHz going to 44.1 KHz. 96 KHz is slick and awesome...one more comment: Processing in a 96 KHz project (Plugins and Instruments) is indeed superior to processing in 44.1 KHz projects! Best, m.k.beat
  13. Hi, the answer is quite simple: The first Snow Leopard compatible version of Pro Tools HD is not compatible anymore with Logic Pro (DAE Mode), this is the end of DAE/DTDM support for Logic Pro: AVID: Logic Audio and Digital Performer in DAE Mode Pro Tools HD 8.0.3 (and higher) will no longer support Apple's Logic Audio or Motu's Digital Performer running in DAE mode. Best, m.k.beat
  14. You are confusing some things... Logic Pro will need discrete outs for surround mixing, the build in optical out is stereo only in this regard. This is why you are confused: There is no realtime surround output to AC-3 (Dolby Digital) conversion available within Logic Pro. You have to use Compressor, part of the Logic Studio bundle, to convert surround files to AC-3. AC-3 or DTS files can be streamed through an optical digital output connected to a Surround Receiver with the ability to decode the stream to discrete surround channels. Best, m.k.beat
