  1. try and reset the axiom by entering '01' on the number pad - this resets to the default midi settings - as long as you haven't changed the defaults that is...
  2. what about saving the presets in your project folder (not in the waves list but as an actual file using the 'save setting as' function when you click on the black arrow under 'bypass') and then loading them when you open them on the G5?
  3. what about installing the 5.9.1 update on your G5?
  4. my autoload is saved in: home/library/application support/Logic/Song Templates
  5. set up the template as you see fit and then go to 'save as template' and name it 'Autoload' then Logic will automatically open it everytime it starts
  6. which synth do you want to install?
  7. You need to connect the korg to the midi out of your USB midi cable and in the 'external midi' plug you need to select the audio inputs of your sound card that you have connected the outputs of the korg to. When you play on your keyboard you should hear the korg. to actually record the sounds just enable an audio track to record on the same inputs as the korg is connected to.
  8. try and go to www.dontcrack.com - plenty to play with there. as far as getting sounds from your micro korg to logic then use your usb midi cable to control the korg and record the audio from the synths outputs directly into logic via your sound card. otherwise you can use the 'external midi' plug in logic and configure it to recieve the audio outputs of your synth.
  9. can anyone suggest a reliable and inexpensive word clock generator?
  10. the ez drummer loops / midi files are also very realistic and they come in lots of variations to give a live drummer feel
  11. Doh! I've just noticed your using a Digi card! I have no idea when it comes to Pro Tools but maybe you can sync the digi 001 using pro tools and then Logic will record without any pops...
  12. what soundcard are you using? is that also set to 44.1? My focusrite saffire pro 26 has multiple sample rate settings and if I'm not careful to sync the soundcard to everything else I get the same problem as you. Hope this helps
  13. are they both set to the same sample rate? you can change this in logic under Audio - Sample rate
  14. it could also be your firewire drivesr need updating. I had a similar problem with my Focusrite Saffire Pro 26 and that was solved with Apple's newer drivers.
