Yeh, that's a good one, there's another trick and that's how to get the AC-7 to run *alongside* (not sequentially on tracks) of a hardware controller, which is how I use it....(so I have the main controller in the control room, and then run Logic in the tracking room for overdubs etc,,,)
Here's what I wrote on the app page to help people with that -
"you have to assign the AC-7 to a new "mix group". You can do this by dragging the new icon you created when you first installed AC-7 down to the next lower area (in Logic 8 anyways), and then change the next to last line in the settings to Mix Group "2", then it will start at the beginning of the tracks list."
I think if a person had an iPad, and this app, they would probably not need a hardware controller, then making buying an iPad an viable option as opposed to spending WAY more money on a hardware controller, that wouldn't add much functionality for most users....
