    Latency bug..???

All this I do know. As I said, I'm an experienced pro user. Still, all instruments and audio should be in sync, even when Audio and Software instrument Tracks(ASIT) - (in pref) is set. Done some testing. It turns out that Logic 10.7 having trouble handling sidechain in compressors. Using bus or audio trig, same thing. Engaging side chain, fucks up Logics delay compensation....!!

    Latency bug..???

Hi. Been using LPX for 20 years. Teach in it. I now run v. 10.7, and suddently some instruments behave odd. No matter using the Delay comp button on top, or shifting All or Audio and instruments in pref., all instruments and audio should play in sync, but they only do when no compensation is on(Prf. set to All, or button on top is idle. Now, when engaging either delay comp method, logic's strings play back 500 ms behind. I've recorded drums, piano, bas, and they are in sync, no matter what state delay comp i'm in. Switching to All, or turn of Delay comp button on top, String plugin lines up. This is the first time ever to experience that...!!! Any surgestions??
  3. Hi Jordi Thanks for reply.... But damn. That really sucks, cus in order to have 15 mono tracks setup in the daw(kick, sn, toms... Etc), one need mono configurations PLUS one stereo for ambient.... If not two... One for OH. Now, we're left with a lot of mono or stereo. I haven't heard from BFD forum yet....
  4. In LP 10.4.7 I have the option to choose 1stereo and 15 mono outs(AUX) when inserting BFD3. In 10.7.5 its gone. Can anyone confirm, or inlighten me how that have come to pass!? I now use Mac Mini(2018), Monterey

    Tap Tempo

Hi When I tap tempo via key command, the playhead stand still. The project "runs" but nothing happens.Auto enabled external sync.
  10. ahhh...using bus.....silly me
  11. I tried that. But I fail to see the logic here. How do one set this up, so you can rec the input from gtr, listen to the output of BIAS FX, and control the efx within, at the same time??
  12. And thanx for you guys and the forum. But still, I wonder: Audio tracks can't read external CC data, unless read and registered through the Smart control. The parameter registered ARE CC, then how come that plugins, inserted on Audio tracks, that read CC midi data(0-127), dont react to it(only automation mode)....when they recieve it now through control center, where the external controllers are read? When they are used on instrument tracks, they react to the CC data, as they should.... In this BIAS FX2 plugin, one can choose to assign either midi or automation to each pedal.
  13. Yep. Looks like it....
  14. Well, lo and behold, done a lot of trouble shooting this morning. And to cut a looong story short, it turns out that the old girl, Logic, still suffers from old coding(thus the name "logic" often seems to be misplaced ). At least with the 10.4.8 version in this case. Logic have a controler path problem, if tracks resides within Track Stacks(witch was the case here). It doesn't matter what plugins you use, assigning an external controller to the Smart Control parameter, doesn't work. The Smart Control parameter have no problem communicating with the plugin, but you cannot assign an external controller to it. Tried dishing sc and plist several times inbetween new sessions...new ones and old ones. The new account as well. So, as long as you stick to Audio tracks that aren't part of a Track stack, you're good. Having assigned an external controller, and then moving the track to a Track Stack, also interrupts the connection. You can, however, use a VCA.
  15. It's actually been the company's logo for 20 years. You know.. FF... Fast Forward.
