Hi everyone! I've been using Logic 10 since it was release but I'm a long time Logic user. I've got the Logic Studio and Logic Studio 2.0 Upgrade Pro DVD boxset and I'd like to ask you guys: Does the Logic X library has the same instruments (exs24) as the good old Logic studio and studio pro? Should I keep the DVD's or have them copied to a DMF file? Is there any quicker way than to copy 16 DVD to my harddrive? I've got the serialnumber down and I'm only using Logic X which is very nice by the way. Is it okay to trash the DVD's since I haven't used them in a lot of years? Best regards Kasper

Hi there. I've always mixed ITB and now I'm trying to use a 16 channel interface and a 16 channel summing mixer. Everything is working but I'm having trouble with logic x. I'm monitoring through Logic (input 1+2) and I need to hit record everytime I need to hear the return from the summing mixer. It's difficult mixing in Logic in Record mode because I have to stop and make adjustments (enable/disable busses, sends, plugins and routing). Isn't there a way to monitor a input through logic without using record mode?

Thanks Eric for confirming that I'm not going crazy. I have to change Madi PCIE card then because I can't route differently with my SSL Madi extreme.

Hi there. I've changed the logic X setting on my interfaces from 1/2 to output 17/18. Everything is running and the sound is great. But in "In/out Label" Logic has moved outputs 17/18 on top of output 1/2. I'd like to use output 1/2 ( actually 1 to 16) to my summing device and then use the last output for monitoring. I can't use outputs 1/2 now. Is there a way to change this in Logic or do I need to route things differently with my interface? (SSL Madiextreme + Aurora 16 with madi and AES)

Thanks, but I have to zoom a lot to draw the thin red line. Autopunch doesn't snap to a region like the cycle function. This really slows down my workflow with "Set locators".

Hi triplets. Yes, but I can't use the "set locators by regions" function with autopunch. Do you know how to set the Autopunch to the normal cycle locators?

Hi everybody! I would like to use the locators to make one recording pass. It's much like a normal recording in Cycle mode but I don't want to continue recording after the first pass is over. I just want to make on recording. I can't use the normal "bounce" function as i'm mastering and recording stems at the same time. Do anyone have a solution? Best regards

Hi Guys. I use a AU instrument (Vanguard) with its build in arpeggiator. I'd like to have the output from the Vanguard arpeggiator in midi format for a live performance. Do anyone know how to do this? Best regards from Denmark.

Thanks David, I've allready done that. Before your tip with "select unused media" I used to sit and check the entire media browser through which files is unused, then delete them and then compress the project for upload. Now it's much easier, I just need to have a back up.

YES - Thanks! Suddenly my 2 projects went from 1,6gb to 400mb's Now It's much easier to upload to an ftp server. Thanks David!

Hi everybody! I'm a new user around this forum and I need advice: I need to clean up a project with a size around 700-800mb. I can see lots of unused files in the media bay, but... How do I tell logic to delete all the unused files, and clean up the project? I've got a backup Regards From Copenhagen.
