  1. Greetings 🙂 Im trying to make a tapestyle 8 track recorder where I do not see the arrange page and timeline at all. Pressing X opens the mixer, but it does not expand all the way to cover the arrange and timeline. Then I open the mixer as a floating window, but as I use Logic in full screen mode, the floating mixer window shifts to another desktop view (other page). If have everything floating, then the windows shifts around, mixes with other app windows and weird stuff happens. I prefer to use Logic in Full screen so I can swipe to get to RME total mix settings. Is there a way to have logic in full screen mode with transport on top and then the mixer that covers everything else ? All the best Morten 🙂 So far the best I have gotten is on this screenshot - but then everything floats and gets messed up when I open other apps etc..
  2. Thak you so much for taking your time to help out Just what i needed its was super helpfull Best wishes Morten
  3. Awesome was looking for something like this:) I thought the environment was gone. Can you give a short pointer on to how to set this up, it's bin 10 years or so since I visited the environment : ) Morten:)
  4. I use two keyboards to play vsts in Logic - my main weighted and my portable. All the vst are set to respond perfectly to my main boards velocity curve, but when I use the portable the keyboard - that velocity curves need a bit of tweaking with the midi fx and a little dash of velocity minus 10 tics on the channel in Logic.. (the tweaking on the hardware board is not enough) Right now I have to adjust this every time I go on the road and open up my autoload in Logic. Is there a way to save keyboard profiles etc or something else so I can use my normal autoload and the switch between the keyboards in an easier way than my current method ?? All the best Morten
  5. ? If you mean a hardware looper - I got it. An iOS looper, Quntiloop, than can do all the above - got that. But Im looking for a Mac osx looper and there does not seem to be so many options that can compete with hardware or IOS loopers which to me seems pretty odd, hence this thread for help
  6. I have tried to check our live loops -but it seems a little too grid focused and deeeep. But if I can get it to work for my purpose then that would be awesome, but so far I have not been able to do it with live loops.. I need my MacBook Pro to take on the role as guitar looper. That means: 1: Record with no tempo or grid = first take sets the tempo for the rest.. 2: Threshold recording - So it starts when audio is present and I use my hands to press a key to stop 3: If more tracks is possible and serial (chorus/verse mode is possible then that's a bonus -but I can live without it.. Can live loops do this ? Otherwise if anyone know of a plugin that can do this (It has to either work inside Logic or being able to host a guitar sim if it rolls standalone)
  7. Does this plugin exist ? Cant seem to find it on mac osx
  8. Awesome Thanks Could I not just export all the files with the original files names to a new folder and use that instead of all the renaming? Going to give it a try:)
  9. The samples are transferred to the sampler "Audiolayer" on an IPAD. So sadly not using the Logic sampler, but only using Logic to trim, cut and export all the files....
  10. Ohhhh Nooooo I have clicks at the end of almost every 20 second sample I have done of a piano. Is there a way to batch fade all the samples keeping the name and everything identical - but just with fades ? I´m pulling my hair - it sounded so good and I never tried to sustain for the full 20 seconds, but just kept focusing on playability
  11. Perfect it worked Thanks I do not find the delete content from the Apple storage menu to be very precise. On my screen its either delete the instrument library and all the loops or not ? I pressed delete instruments and loops and now when I open Logic - its starts downloading 1,65 gb of essential instruments. Is there a way to make Logic work without the "essential" content ? or do more precise deletion of the content ? I just need reverbs from Logic. In my perfect little Logic world - there would be no instrument, loop, plugin in the Library or Plugin browser that I have not put there. Simply an anti Bloat version Is that possible ??
  12. I do not use many of the included sounds in Logic - so I have chosen not to download them. However they all still recide in the library browser just with a download icon after them, making it even messier to look at. Is there a way to hide all these things or is it like the list with Logic stock plugins? In a perfect world I would like Logic to be more customisable with regards to easy access to the things I use all the time Morten
  13. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211184 I found this on apple site
  14. When you make a user DMD kit with custom samples, where are the samples stored when you save the patch ? Is there a folder with wav files somewhere or do Logic just point to the location your samples are dragged from or ?? For organization purposes I would like to keep track of the samples for the individual kits Ps. also if you resample or record directly to a cell where is that sample stored ?
  15. Haha - Garageband - that would be the wrong 99 percent taken off:) Ps. I think you guys saved me a lot of cash extending the life of this older Macbook. With this method the CPU meter hardly moves and the f......... fans stay silent since the CPU is chilling with audio tracks. Ahhhhhh I´ll say it again - the fans stay silent. I have never really had a I7 Macbook Pro that did not go all hoover on me - I can hear birds chirping outside the window now :)
