casual- this is happening for me as well, it sets the channel back to 1 and it really should be on channel 2 to control the parameters in the evp88- anyone know why it's resetting the channel back to one? I can manually change them back, so not a huge deal, but...

I am also interested in using battery kits in exs- please keep us informed of your progress! I have heard of people doing this, just not sure how.

have any of you got the pinch zooming to work on the magic mouse via third party software? I use this all the time in Logic on my macbook pro and it's the only thing holding me back from getting a magic mouse. I've read that third party software can get this going, but I'm wondering if it feels the same.

oh- that's the ticket! now I get it. I think that was probably what was happening all along. =the piano roll has 2 different views, full view and region view. double clicking changes view type. thanks so much Dave.

Dave- it's working now. I played with it a lot and for some reason it's now working. There is something happening though where sometimes it doesn't work. Last night was full of those instances. For the record, "link window" could produce a problem like I am describing, but I already knew about that one when my troubles began. The only one that I can duplicate is when I open the project, select multiple regions, click on "window" then "piano roll" all of the regions do not show up. If I then deselect and then select again it works.

D- I know this sounds crazy, but I can't seem to make this work with multiple regions on one track or with multiple tracks. Is there a setting somewhere that I have set on "show only one instrument or one region in the piano roll"?

I'm trying to edit multiple midi tracks- lining up certain things in the piano, bass and drum parts. It's proving to be difficult. 1) open multiple piano roll editors this is working, however, even though they are synced up and playing the same measure, keeping them in line visually is difficult- especially if the regions are different lengths, and resizing the windows to the same size and making sure they don't have different zoom levels, etc...Which leads me to: 2) regions is there a way to see the whole track, instead of one region at a time in the piano roll? I have to go back to the arrange page and click on a new region to see it in the piano roll 3) another solution? maybe I'm missing something. Ideally, I would just edit midi data in the main arrange window with all the tracks, that way I could see where everything lines up and make adjustments. Or, have one piano roll window with multiple tracks that line up easily. ANY thoughts on workflow would me much appreciated!

subtonic- any luck on this with logic 9? I'm having a similar problem with the "Dvorak - querty (command sign)" version. Specifically having trouble with the system wide commands like new, save, etc.

photobooth? could be a good quicktime pro alternatve.

It seems like someone imported all the Battery kits into EXS24 in the past. Does anyone remember seeing this?

Are you by any chance crossfading Midi files? This could be the problem. Just a guess?
