s i used compressed format.it plays well but why does it hang logic

when i am working with video files in logic logic hangs and it does not resume at all.. i am unable to even save and quit.. Why does this happen ... ------ logic 8 mac pro 8 core leopard

Suddenly while working logic crashes with an error window sayin libEuConDLL.dylib might have caused .. mac osx and other applications are not affected i have the latest drivers for the Eucon. but still crashes.. ------ 8 core mac logic 8 leopard

How to increase the gain of audio without mentioning the db levels.. That is to increase gain by seing the image of the audio file...like in cubase or nuendo where jus selectin the audio file and if u drag up the ain increases correspondingly.. Is there any feature in logic like that 2.I also want to know how to use fade ins and fade out easily.. I hav Logic studio 8

.component is in place and installation was also succesfull But in logic 8 it does not recognice the instrument. I tried refreshin the list also ..no luck Mainly swarplug got succesfully installed but its not available in logic 8.. might be some update is required ..

HI Akoustik piano and swarplug AU does not showup in logic 8 even though it has been sucessfully installed.. Wat could be the problem..
