  1. Hi, I'm wondering if there's a way to essentially do the reverse of quantizing? Rather than take imperfect audio and make it match the grid and become exact tempo, I'd like to take audio which is not exact - but which hopefully has some swing and human feel to it - and have the grid map itself to that, so that I can then program parts to the audio without having to manually sync the notes to it. Doable?
  2. Cheers Des, I did a search of my Mac for .exs files but the ones I'm looking for aren't there (currently running Pro X). The instruments I'm after are: Mega Fat Broken Phat Fifth Bass Dry Standard Kit Small Soft Grand Piano Small Grand Piano Clean Electric Guitar Yamaha Grand Piano Any assistance much appreciated!
  3. Hi all, was trying to remix some older material and seem to have lost a folder with about 8-9 associated Logic 7 EXS24 Instruments. Does anyone please have these that would be willing to send the ones I need to me?
  4. Hi everyone, I have two snare tracks sent to a group fader (bus 2). I have an effects send from bus 2 to the reverb channel (bus 3). When I solo bus 3 to tweak my reverb it cuts out the bus 2 send so I can't hear what the snare reverb is doing. Can someone tell me the work around for this please? I'm using Logic 8. Thanks!
  5. Hi, after numerous instances of changing computers and losing samples/sampler instruments in the process, I am trying to get things more organised. I have an EXS24 drumkit that I created, and I moved all the samples it uses into a sub-folder of the relevant project folder. Then in the Project Manager I went into the EXS24 section and 'browsed' the relevant intrument, where all its samples were now listed red (missing). I did 'Find Used Files For Selected Items' and it found the samples in their new location, and they all changed from red to black. However, the drum kit now doesn't work - it loads, finds all the files, but produces no sound. If I open the editor, I can pick any zone, double-click in the Audio File field and the browse window brings up the correct location - I can then reselect the same file from the same place, and that zone will then work, but only until you close the song. Despite saving the intrument, it still won't work the next time you load it. I've kind of busked all of that anyway, because I dumbly assumed it would be a simple process - any help fixing it would be much appreciated, thanks!
