  1. I just got a similar message for the first time. "Standby Recording files are deleted automatically when Logic Pro quits, if not moved. Switch off Record-Standby to delete files within Logic Pro." Before that I got a message that such and such standy recording couldn't be found.
  2. I have the same problem and am trying to follow your instructions. I don't know what the "bounce button on Output 1" is. I chose mono output, but I still get a stereo file. Does it being in a Track Stack have any relevance?
  3. Yes, indeed. Thank you.
  4. I should have read your post more carefully! I was looking for Metronome but the track is called Click. Not to be confused with the track I created called Click. I erased the track I made and Click is still there and the Metronome works as expected. Thank you for that. My only question is how did it get muted?
  5. Wow, there were so many tracks I thought that was all. Here are three shots which depict "all". Thanks for sticking with this. I don't see Metronome, but I am famous for not seeing things right in front of my face.
  6. I tried to make a small file just 4 bars long with no audio, just midi of a couple of tracks, but of course it is too big to upload. 1.5MB limit here and that file is 105MB. Why it is that big with nothing in it, beats me. I've never been able to up load a file here. Always too big. Luckily, a screenshot is only 725 KB.
  7. I'm having the same problem and audio is checked. I cannot find Klopgeist anywhere (searched in Help and in the Library), so I think that is the problem. How can I get Klopgeist?
  8. I am afraid I didn't set enough undo steps to get back to the original problem so I don't see much point in uploading it. The good news is that what you suggested worked very well with the guitar part. I went through and put beat markers on the first beats and subdivisions of each bar and was able to change and straighten out tempos. It is good enough to listen to for me to make judgements. In fact, I don't know how Logic can make flex work so well on a guitar part. I could straight up use that guitar part. Why it just didn't work on the vocal is another Logic mystery. Thank you.
  9. Okay, but I have already changed it by moving the tempo markers and setting beats for the measures in the guitar part. I just decided to forget about the vocal. I just want to try it at different tempos and to see how it works before I record audio again. BTW, how can I share it? I have tried to share before and there is a very low limit to size. I can upload without audio and that might possibly fit, but that would lose the point.
  10. I tried cutting the vocal up into 8 bar sections or so, but that was even worse than leaving it as one section.
  11. I did as you suggested. It seemed to work with the guitar track, but the vocal track always moved
  12. Thanks. Now to catch up on all I've missed.
  13. Well, David you were correct about the ID and that led to a solution today. Finally. I've been an Apple user since 1986 and I believe I had an ID well before the App Store appeared in 2008 and certainly before they assigned the icloud email address as an ID. Today my wife found the old 2013 bank book that had the purchase noted in it. I didn't need it though. I found an old note to myself with the user name I used when I purchased Logic. The tricky part was that my old account did not use my old password but the new one. I had to trash my current Logic program and was able to download from my old account. It asked if I wanted an older version when I installed from the App Store, but I am up to 10.7.9, the latest Monterey can use. I think the latest is 10.8.1, so I'm not far behind. More than two hours on the phone with Japanese Apple support. Their number for English didn't work. Kudos to my poor wife who is exhausted after translating and talking about stuff she doesn't understand for more than 2 hours. I asked if I could combine my oldApp Store account with the new one and they said no. Thanks to all for your input. PS I got another computer. It is exactly the same model early 2008 MacPro, but with more RAM, a much better graphic card and a different USB3 card.
  14. I don't know if this is an attainable goal, but I would like to play with the tempo map and have that reflected in the audio. I have already made a tempo map. There are places where I want to stretch the time and places where I want to steady the tempo. In other words, there is a different tempo on every beat and I want to even it out so that it is one tempo for several bars and then maybe have a slight retard, but when I turn on flex, everything jumps drastically as can be seen in the comparative screenshots above.
