  1. Hi Guys... I know how to save channel strips to include everything inc the instrument channel. However I want to only save the effects chain so I can place it on various instrument channels and not have the instrument change - but only the effect routing. Does anyone know how to do this because I seem to be only able to change the strip and instrument. This only applies to instrument channels Thanks D
  2. Hi guys... Does anyone know how I can get this resonator effect using delay designer (or any other Logic delay) Thanks
  3. thanks.... I have no knowledge of this stuff but will give it a shot
  4. Hi David... That doesn't seem to properly integrate the scale remapper. For instance on the actual remapper screen if you click the keys with your mouse no notes are heard and it doesn't display which notes are hit via the midi keyboard. Its also not remapping any played notes. What I want to be able to do is flick between the my chord memorizer environment and the scale remapper in an environment. The import method you suggested simply imports the remapper but it doesn't seem to be wired up in any way. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks
  5. This is really helpful thanks. Does anyone know if its possible to import this tool into an already existing chord memorizer environment. Any help appreciated
  6. Hey guys... I'm looking to do a few disco/funk edits in Logic and want to know the best way to do this. The first problem would be the tempo issue so I'm thinking of beat mapping the original file and then time stretching after to my desired tempo. I'm assuming you can time stretch after beat mapping and the transients will still be locked. In fact that's probably the main issue as once It's locked in tempo I can get down to the business of editing. I'm hoping the end result will be something like this. (From 1.49) If anyone has had any experience in doing these type of remix edits in Logic or has any tips please let me know. cheers d
  7. Hi guys... I stumbled upon this template and it looks great. Does anyone have anything similar or an environment with a few different chord types to chose from? from 1.36 seconds in cheers D Logic 9.1.3 Macbook Pro 2.8Ghz 4gb Ram
  8. Hi... I'm trying to get this wobble tape type effect for synths in Logic but am not having much luck. I know this guy probably uses samples but I'm more in re sampling myself. Does anyone have any tips in how to do this? From 20 seconds in: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQrpR7Y1ez0 Any help appreciated Mac Book 2.4ghz 10.6.4 4GB Ram Logic 9.1.2
  9. anyone care to share any knowledge?
  10. Hi.... I've trawled the forum but couldn't see any info on this. After watching this clip of an SH 101 sync'ed up to an 808 I bought a Kenton USB solo (CV Midi converter) to sync it to my logic midi clock. http://www.redbullmusicacademy.com/video-archive/lectures/a_guy_called_gerald_ring_gerald 1.01.24 seconds in I basically want to use logic as the master tempo and the sh101 to sync up and follow, so when I use the sh 101 sequencer it's perfectly in time and I can tweak the oscillators live & record the results. Can anyone help me with this? cheers d
