Hi guys, i'm sure this is possible but before i cause myself grief, does anyone know if i can copy the downloaded Alchemy Content from my Macmini to my Laptop? Took the best part of 12 hours to download once so if there is an easier and more efficient way to do it that would be fantastic. I found a folder on my Macmini called Alchemy Samples so can i just copy that to the same place on the laptop? Or is there more involved than that? Thanks in advance

Does anyone know if i can copy LPX Updates between my different computers? If i download 10.1.1 to one of my Macs, do i need to download via the App Store on my other 2 as well, or having gone through the download process and burned through my data on one of them, can i just copy it to the others? It is a 1GB ish download. Or will that screw up things with Software Update on my other Macs? Obviously i can just try it, but i'm hoping someone might know the answer to this before i go creating grief for myself

I know the difficulty of the written word is that the tone is missing, but honestly, if you read anything from Eric that couple possibly be condescending, or possibly not, 100% of the time it won't be. He's a generous man with his knowledge and time. We are lucky to have him on this Forum

Hey birk, despite your sage advice, i had already updated before resetting. And now, the Interface Mods are not working well at all for me. My own dumb fault, but do you have any advice about what i might do to recover? I do have a backup of the MAR Resources Framework folder from the previous version of LPX if that does me any good. Whatever it was before 10.0.5. Any advice greatly appreciated

Birk, your Theme Swithcer is a fantastic resource. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your hard work. LPX was a welcome refreshment of the GUI but pretty damn dark. Really happy to be able to access different themes. A breath of fresh air and thanks again

Thanks for the reply Jordi, I appreciate it. I have a project to finish so i can't afford to make LPX stop working, but when i get through it, i'll do a full clone of my hard drive and then give it a shot. If it all goes horribly wrong i'll recover fine, it'll just take a little while

Here's a question. Because the Resources Folder is inside the LPX Package, would it be possible to copy LPX, rename it something like LPX SSL, or LPXPTs, change the Resources Folders inside the copies, and therefore have different versions of Logic that open with different GUIs? I'm afraid to go ahead and do it in case i wreak havoc, but does anyone actually know the answer to this definitely? I figure as long as i leave a pristine copy of LPX Software Update will still work

Does anyone know of any way in LPX to see the length of a region (or Cycle Region) in seconds? It was doable in 9, but i can't seem to find a way to do it in LPX Thanks
