  1. Hi guys, I was wondering if it is possible to recall your individual track heights. So, for example, you set the individual track heights as you please. Save that setting, but when you for example use the Zoom Focused Track command, everything resizes automatically. Now, is there a command to RECALL the individual track heights you set before??? I tried via screen sets and that didn't work. I tried via Zoom Level recall, but that's not really related to track height ... Thoughts ??? Thanks guys!!! 2. Wow! That is really strange. I attached a Screen Capture how it looks on my end. I have never seen this before... Something got corrupted. Channel 256.mp4.zip
  3. Hi all, I can confirm a similarly strange behavior. One of my students showed me his session. (Perhaps it was from an earlier version of Logic Pro, but not before 10.2). The click was playing but wasn't showing in the mixer. I disabled automatic channel strip management. Added a new channel strip in the environment. Assigned it to Klopfgeist. Tried to assign it to Channel 256, but it says it is "reserved"... Duhhh... yes, for the Klopfgeist ... no idea how to tackle this one. Logic session is attached. Thanks all!! 4. Brilliant! Many Thanks for this! Super helpful!
  5. What I meant was, give the option to either use transient markers or (quantized) flex markers to create a Sampler Instrument. Why not? Then the user has the option to use the more "human" feel transient markers or the more mechanical quantized flex markers.
  6. Thanks much David for clarifying! I do think it would be cool to at least give that option to use flex markers instead of transient markers, so you don't have to bounce in place first... but that's an easy workaround. Thanks again !!! P
  7. I still have this issue in LP 10.4.2... anyone else? Thx for confirming! P LP 10.4.2 - MAC PRO mid 2012, 64 GB RAM, MAC OS 10.12.6
  8. Hi, I am trying to figure out if this is a bug or not. I have an audio file with a bunch of transients. I added a few more and corrected others. I quantize the audio in Flex mode so everything is nicely on the grid. I then Bounce this file in place (Ctrl-B). Looking at this file I can see that this file now only has 3 transient markers in there. So when I am trying to convert it to an EXS instrument it will only create 3 zones. Can anyone shed some light into this? I attached a screenshot. Also, if I am trying to convert the original audio file to an EXS instrument, it will always take the original transient markers (not the flex markers) to make that sampler instrument. Thanks for all your help!!! P MAC PRO 2012, 64 GB RAM, Logic 10.4.2, MAC OS 10.12.6
  9. Yes, the way to do it is to beat map the audio file so it is perfectly on the (musical) grid. Then, and this is a Logic bug I believe, Bounce the audio in place (Ctrl-B), THEN switch on Flex. (From now on ONLY work with the Bounced in Place file). If you can't see the flex option hit Cmd-F to turn on Flex View, select an algorithm (slicing in my case of the choo-choo train). And then just delete all tempo events you created during the beat mapping process. And that will do exactly what I was going for. Everything is evened out (stretched or compressed) to be on a constant tempo. I hope this helps!
  10. Yes, I can confirm this behavior and how to fix it. This does only happen on certain libraries.
  11. This post is now a few years old. But it seems that no remedy has been found yet, not even a workaround... Switching off Note-chasing doesn't seem to help either as williamhtrice reported... Any more leads?
  12. And then of course the question: What if you add tracks for specific projects? You'd then have to offset everything in Lemur for each project ... not ideal but better than nothing.
  13. Regarding Track ID: Well, what I was hoping for is that I could select a track that has a specific number, not the INDEX which only includes the currently visible tracks. But I guess this is not possible. Not a big deal but of course it would make things a bit easier. Thanks again P
  14. Perfect, Thanks Jordi! One last thing: It seems that "index" for some reason only includes tracks that contain instruments. I use the NO OUTPUT object and rename it to "==================" as a divider between different subgroups. These tracks don't count towards the track index it seems. Also, hidden tracks also don't seem to count either... (I am using the Logic Control surface by EMAGIC, is that correct?) I wish there was a way to assign the track selects to the unique Track ID, instead of index... Is that possible ??? THANKS AGAIN !!!! P MAC OS 10.9.5, MAC PRO 2012, 64GB, LPX 10.2.2
